stay positive! i was in your shoes three years ago and certainly know how you feel. I lost 10 yards or so from each club after my wrist surgery, but gained a most consistent swing. i went three months without touching a club. just keep doing rehab and strengthening exercises.

Moment of downtime and wanted to pop in.

I am the guy that keeps dropping out of playing with everybody. Its a combo of just being plain anti-social and some family stuff that has come on suddenly.

I appreciate the prayers guys, it means a lot. For those of you that are confused by this post, here is the short version:

60 hours ago life was good
48 hours ago we found out my middle daughter has some sort of cancer
24 hours ago we got the treatment plan for Pre B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia
12 hours ago she received her first dose of chemo and came through like a champ

I'll be a drifter in and out for a while, living the golf life vicariously through y'all, so please keep the round recaps coming and make them long.

Hopefully I'll be in a position to come out for the title defense in CL7s Part Deuce or whatever it will be called.

I swore I was going to go to bed after that last post. nope. Wound up, for many different reasons.

First world golf problem: I bought a replacement 6i for the one that I had stolen off the NW driving range. Bought a replacement shaft. Budda did the install, so same builder. Same SW.

And I can't do anything but hit hosels with it. Had to drop the old s3 pro 6i in there for the past couple rounds (that didn't work out too well). Something's wrong with the club and I don't know what it is and I don't want to have to keep experimenting/paying *maybe* to fix it.

I know it's crazy, but I'm actually considering new irons because I no longer have a functioning six iron in the bag.

Alternative action: I also could just leave it out and just mind the gap. Yeah. That's something I should try.

I never liked my 6i anyway.

Great night for the DC teams with Caps, Wizards and Nationals winning. Can't ever remember the trifecta hitting.

So, I got my wife to take the east potomac get golf ready 6 classes for $99. After multiple class reschedulings, customer service issues on all fronts, and just an overall subpar experience she is pretty dejected about EPP.

I've never taken a lesson, much less there and my only interaction is to give them money to play golf. Is that standard operating procedure for the classes or did she just catch a bad experience? Are there better options? She wants to have a few lessons but doesn't want to spend $100/hr as a beginner that isn't sure if she'll stick it out.
FWIW they did give her multiple buckets of balls and a free round/cart coupon for completely forgetting an entire class one day so the cost probably almost washed and I have to give some props for fixing one of the many issues.

Kess, my wife took the same class at either Sligo or northwest a few years ago. Nothing like you describe. They went above and beyond to get her playing.

East Potomac is the main problem.

Have you looked around for other courses? That program should be available at most courses.

You could always gets couple's lessons. 30 minutes for you and 30 minutes for her. The cost would come down.

Bullets were solid last night. I was mostly watching Celts-Cavs because the Celts teams is so cool right now. Got to the Bullets game in the third QUARTA when they started turning it on. Really think it will be hilarious if Celts take 2 before going back to Cleveland. I think they'll get one.

Sorry to hear that, but am glad to hear that she responded well to the first chemo. Prayers for a speedy and complete recovery.
