I need to work on staying out of the sun during afternoon rounds and hiking. But they need to be very lightweight and breathable.

This happened during the red tee challenge last year. C Freezy's clic decimated mine in a showdown on hole 6. His was loaded up with all the accessories, and it completely manhandled mine. Knocked it over like it was nothing, sending my stuff flying out of the compartment. It was some nasty clic on clic crime.

Check out the outdoor research hats on amazon. I used one at Firefly last year and it worked really well. They're very lightweight and don't get hot like bucket hats.

LP has a couple of Norman type hats. Saw a few but in the end, get a straw cowboy hat.

On Thursdays I'm at work at 430a which means I'm on the first tee at 130p sharp. Played worst-ball on the front nine and even managed a birdie. I have to give cfree some more props for helping me with the Aimpoint stuff. I sort of started paying attention to it last year and at once I bought a level, really started using it @ a month ago. Had two 15-20' putts today that if I paid you $100 you would swear it breaks one way - when it doesnt. I put the level down, read the break, said, no way it breaks that much that way - and rolled it in. It was crazy. Naturally, not playing with anyone that could appreciate it but I am really looking forward to the clinic on Sunday.

My dad wears one now after getting a number of small cancer things (forget the term for his type) frozen or scalpeled off his face. I should probably stop being a dope and just wear one. Instead I'm out getting burned because I forgot to bring sunscreen to the course last weekend. Stupid.
