Jist kidding, conference call then going back to bed.

1130- dog fight

 

1200- 4 cops car lights flashing and lighting up the inside of the house (no clue what happen...don't care)

 

500- kiddo had a bad dream

 

640- I'm up....

 

715-Breakfast

 

730- dishes

 

740- walk dogs

 

750-9ish- get all my snacks, lunch, and dinner (maybe eat there) together.

 

1000- Kiddo's first tball game

 

11ish-- roll out to Hobbits

 

12ish- warm up

 

110- beat some @$$

Oh yeah its official...I lost 30 pounds since I started the quest to get my pants to fit..

 

Now they don't fit anyways :(

 

Anywho, dietician is starting to bump my calories up slowly to attempt to get some muscles on me..trying to get that Ahoop/Siegle figures ;).

I only lost a few pounds but can tell pants fit differently that they used to.

Yea, once the wife pops out #2 in 6 weeks, we are both doing a workout plan, need to drop 15 or so. And will also be looking for new pants.

Played a quick 9 at a local course (Sycamore Creek) yesterday afternoon after I was done with work. Everything was super green and looked great. Shot 6 over due to 5 three putts. The greens hadn't been cut in a while due to the heavy rain.

 

I only lost one ball and it wasn't a tee shot (I topped a ball into the water on a side hillside with bal below my feet). Was hitting the driver dead straight and was able to fade a ball as desired on 18. My only swing thoughts were to have light grip pressure and have a neutral grip. Grip pressure has made a huge difference.

 

Going back to play the front today and post the score against my handicap too. I always hoped that I was capable of some good golf. Hopefully I can keep this up!

Got a few hours of practice in today at Va Golf Center, looked like rain might be on the way though.

First tee time at 12:50. Now 3:30. Where are the recaps for the front 9 matches! I'm having some withdrawl symptoms.

Played the front nine and finished 8 over. Driver was still on point for the most part. I had one ball that drifted right in the strong, pre-storm winds and I hit one super low on the face on 9. But other than that I was striping the driver. I still managed to three putt two holes with one of those leading to a triple.

 

One hole I hug a drive that drifted right an I ended up one fairway over and was blocked by a tree and no real route other than over some trees. I tried to draw around a tree when the drive drifted right and ended up not drawing it back. It ended up by the green within an easy pitch distance but I flubbed it and then left the next one short as well. Then I three putted.

 

On 18 I hit the low drive and was 135 out with some wind. So instead of going with a full GW I hit a flight we'd PW and the wind stopped it like a brick wall and three it down in the bunker right in front of the flag. Ended up with a lie in the bunker that was like a fried egg. Hit it thin and all the way to the back of the green. Ended up hitting my first putt to two feet to bogey the hole. That hole is usually an easy par.

 

Oh well. Still the best round I've put up in a long time and I can see that my thoughts of grip pressure and neutral grip and my pre shot alignment routine are working. Hope everyone else had a great day!
