I've been searching for another set to build. I sold off my Miura CB57 a couple of months ago. The biggest regret by far. I'm coming back to them. Miura CB57 are solid irons and designed perfectly.

Hope you get to find a set soon Mate .
Will you have them built with the Tour V again or try a different setup ?
I'm going to stick with my trusty DG TI S400. I've been messing with a lot of different shafts the past couple of years. I recently went back to the DG TI S400 and it helped out my game tremendously. I have my builder order me a set of CB57s and some Y/K grind wedges. I should be set for the next year or so. LOL.

Always Changing!!!

Yeah? They just plain forgot...that must be it. Lmao!!!

Now that I think about it, they forgot to make my 303s feel really harsh on slightly off center strikes as well...stupid, stupid, stupid!

Whether or not it's Miura or Epon, neither hold the capacity to satisfy the depths of the human soul.

Both brands are really good. Miura wins in looks, epon wins when it comes to crazy consistent distance. Couple years back before the super distance craze but my 302's were way higher ball speed iron for iron against lesser lofts. Cant stress how impressed I am with the 302's, not much seat time with the newest stuff though.

Being tied for 88th through 17 should really get the rest of those pros to catch on !

Do you post just to bask in your own negativity or is there some hidden benefit to the forum that I'm missing?

I'm hoping that was a joke? Otherwise that's about the least constructive post I've read in a while.
Let us all know when you've won twice on the PGA Tour and your career earnings surpass $14m will you? ;-)
By the way, both brands and models discussed in this topic are super premium. When you invest in Epon or Miura, you're paying for the level of quality control (material, design and physical specs) that is otherwise only reserved for elite amateurs and professionals. Otherwise you are simply splitting hairs in terms of performance. Then you're down to a discussion of personal preferences in aesthetics and feel.

Yeah, judging by the offers I've had, if I ever decided to sell my copper 302s I'd probably make money. Don't know of many irons that you can say that about. I didn't lose any money on my AF-Tours or P1s and I highly doubt I'll lose money on the P2s either...

That post was intended as a joke .
I did write this post on Saturday morning ( Sydney time ) after a rather festive Friday evening .
I do actually have the greatest respect for the guys on tour .
It was only intended as banter .
The last line of that post in particular was in reply to an earlier comment about off centre strikes not feeling harsh .

Pulled the RIP Shafts out of the Miuras and have new Project X 95 Flighted Shafts being installed as I type this.

The EPONS are great but the offset on them is starting to get on my nerves.

The Set-Up on the Miuras are just too nice not to give them another shot at the starting line-up

I used to be a h0, then I stopped playing for a few years. Started playing again and obviously started surfing WRX again.

Is it me or do the CB57 resemble the TM300 Lehman box toes and the Epon AF Tour CB similar to the Tourstage Z101?

Or am I just biased because I still have those 2 sets?
They do have resemblance at a careless glance. All golf clubs are more similar than different to begin with.

I had and wore out the AF302's a few years back, without a doubt the best feeling clubs I have hit, then went to the GMAC Srixon's, great iron but not quite the same league. Just got the CB57's, similar sweet, pure feel to the AF302's but better sole design for me. My swing fault is to get steep from time to time and the sole on the Epon AF 302's although fairly wide would dig in. With the grind and sole width on the 57's I can see this not being as much of an issue. I've played 2 rounds with the Miura CB57's and am super impressed with my solid contact and everything about them.
The sole design is quite impressive, I like that they also have little bounce. A very versatile iron for a broad group of players.

I have two sets of Miuras .
Both made with the same shafts , length & lie angle .
The only difference are the lofts .
One is a set of Passing Point Straight Necks and the other is the 57s .
Having had the 57s in play now for a couple of months I am finding them so much nicer and more user friendly then the PPSNs .
I never thought when I first laid eyes on the 57s that this would be the case but this model is the real deal !
