Has anybody purchased head covers made from the synthetic leather?

 

Just purchased a set off of Ebay and the title said, "Leather." Was going over the details after sending the money and the description says, "premium synthetic leather."

 

I guess I need to learn to read more carefully. Anyone seen this material and have any comments? Seems to have some grain and look okay in the photographs, but I'm wondering if it will be as durable as real leather. Does Sunfish have any guarantee on their products?

Had the first real hot day (high 80s and humid) and by the end of the round my shorts were stained green. You can see where the holder started to wear and loose it's color. I was able to get most of the stain out but I don't want to ruin any other shorts. Thankfully I was wearing an older pair of khakis. Having a holder on these hot days to keep my yardage books nice was a main motivation for buying one so I'm not real happy with my purchase.

We could embroider it on (you could be a color of embroidery thread), laser engrave it (burn it/brand it into the leather -- this is really precise), or we could do a leather cut out and sew it on.
