I really liked Shadow of Mordor for a while. Once I got towards the end of the game it was too easy. The only part that was difficult was making sure certain orcs rose to power. Killing everything was a piece of cake.

Just got Blops 3 from Target yesterday ($40). Played the multiplayer for about 3 hours last night, it seems to be pretty fun thus far. The game itself feels very similar to all the others more or less (even with the boost and the wall running), however, the maps range from terrific and some of the best of all CoD, to some of the worst maps I've ever seen.

Trying to make every map wall run friendly and more vertical (due to the jumping) might have screwed with the bread and butter 3 lane maps from the old CoDs.

The download speed for games on Xbox one is pure garbage hopefully my Ethernet cable will arrive on Saturday so I don't have to deal with the lackluster wifi connection.

Still the same with the ethernet cable for me. It's terrible for me and my internet connection is lighting fast.

I got some PlayStation store money and have no clue what game to buy. No certain game is jumping out at me. I like most game types. Should I just wait it out for games this spring? I don't know what's coming out soon.

I've downloaded 2 games so far and if you stay off of all things that are connected to the wifi or anything computer related it will download in 45 minutes. Still not great but it's a one time thing thankfully.

The Xbox One elite controller is worth every penny. It takes gaming to a whole different level and is super comfortable as well.

It's nice, but a bit hefty. If I could adjust the handles (ergonomics) it'd be worth the $150.

I mix it up, but lately my favorite has been the EE-3. It's good from close and a bit further out. I like using homing shot if they're really far away.

Sometimes I use the CA 87 if it's going to be a close quarters stage for easy one shot one kill stuff. And the T21-B is fun for stages that call for a lot of ranged shots, but I'm not that good from a big distance using a blaster

Downloaded Gauntlet Slayer Edition for free off of PSN for the ps4. It's pretty fun for just a button mashing game. It's a remake of gauntlet legends if any of you remember that.

[/quote]Just bought one from best buy, wasn't even in the market, but first I've seen them in stores being sold separately from the elite console. Picked up Fallout 4 as well, but not sure if I wanna bring in the New Years with such an "addicting" game.

Its that good! My only gripe is the slow download times but thats a small issue. PS4 is good for casually gamers but the Xbox is great for true gamers. From what I've read the SSHD hard drive is a huge upgrade from the original hard drive and the controller is just amazing in all aspects the elite is definitely worth the extra money.

Gotta get on the new netgear AC lineup, my wifi download speeds are up to 140 Mbps. I have avoided $200+ routers forever, but the AC2350 has been a worthy investment for our gaming/streaming demands.
