I'm on PS4, but still play plenty of PS3 Mass Effect 3 multi-player. Years later I still love it.

 

A buddy gave me Dragon Age: Origins with all the DLC and Dragon Age II for the 3. Just finished Origins and starting on the DLC. Will do II next so I can import the series to Inquisition on PS4. Also got the Nathan Drake Collection for the 4 (after playing all 3 on the PS3).

 

Waiting on Uncharted 4 and Mass Effect Andromeda. I'm terrified of Fallout 4 after dropping an ungodly amount of hours on Fallout New Vegas. I'll wait a while for Fallout 4.

Right? I still haven't done Dead Money and the one with Ulysses. I watched a buddy do Dead Money and I lost interest in that one. The other one looks sweet. Just haven't gotten around to doing it. I did the others, however. I'm maxed out level wise and 100 in all attributes with one of my guys. Addicting.

I'd love for them to go more modern on a game, ala MW1 or MW2. Stuff with technology that is mostly available today, and focus on just normal gameplay and map design. But you do that and everyone complains that the maps are too whatever and slow paced.

 

I never remember a really slow game on MW1, but I guess that was so long ago that the new age of gamers are too busy spinning in circles and jumpin off things than playing objectives. I mean I think anyone that played that game can attest, that playing on Shipment (small square map with shipping containers) was the most fun that you could have in a game.

I'm getting a little bored of the maximum force/area51 arcade machine i have in my house. Since it's in a generic cabinet with no other arcade-specific markings outside of the maximum force marquee, i could convert it with the neogeo one-slot board i have OR i can sell it and buy a PS4/XBone... LOL yeah right, i think i'd rather convert it then subject myself to COD in space plus it's going to be nice to play puzzle bobble against the wife to see who washes the dishes after dinner =P

Was long time nintendo. Then I owned all of the consoles (X360, PS3, Wii/U). I've cut it back to just the Xbox One and the impending Nintendo update. I prefer MS' live service over anything Sony has ever put out.

 

Playing the division currently. Played a TON of Destiny. Have both Fallout and the Witcher. Haven't played either (just time constraints).

I got the HG40, Shadowclaw, Iron Jim, MX Garand, and the wrench.

 

They all are pretty underwhelming honestly. The Shadowclaw is the one I wanted the most but with the movement its really difficult to hit anyone (and it seems to fly through the air pretty slow). The Garand is only really good in Hardcore, but still much worse than the Shevia given the restrictions on the mag size. The HG is just a slow shooting Kuda.

 

Overall, nothing really worth spending the money to get, but the only thing I wish I really had is the baseball bat. Its hilarious when I've picked it up.

The sniper is garbage, it shoots marshmallows out worse than the old Dragunov did in MW3 and Black Ops 1...its ridiculous.

 

Btw, you all hear about the potential name leak for the new Call of Duty?

The only thing CoD wise that has me excited anymore was the leak of MW1 and MW2 becoming backward compatible or possibly an anniversary edition released. If that happens I am pretty much only going to play MW1.

I played a few games of it last night and it seems a little crazy but mostly because I've never really played a shooter thats not a CoD or Halo and where the "heroes" all have very specific strengths/weaknesses, so the make up of your team really makes a difference.

Very much so. I worry a problem with it after playing some this weekend, if you run into a team of 6 vs a team of 3 and the 6 all have a strategy you are absolutely screwed. I know its all about team work and what not, but I mean in CoD you can beast mode and keep it close, you can't do anything of the sort in this game.

 

So while I like it a lot and found it really fun, I worry that as people play other games and my team of 6 becomes a team of 4 or 3, then it'll become instantly not fun.

Honestly there are a few games that are PS4 only and they really make me want to get one (most notably Uncharted and The Show). If I just didn't despise the controller, been an Xbox person since they came out, only ever had a PS for Guitar Hero.

I just played through (about a month ago) the Uncharted Remastered. I've done them all on the PS3 a few times and they just don't get old. The remastered series is beautiful. I'm going to pick up 4 for sure.
