Been playing this track for years. Really a pretty good layout, but the course conditions are abominable. Traps are a mess. They rebuilt a couple last year and I was hopeful they would continue to repair a bunch more that are sub par... no luck. Fairways and rough are burned out worse than any course I've played this year... by a long shot. Tees are chewed up. They're still charging full fees for what amounts to a goat track this year. Stay away. Many better options in the area Blackstone National, Highfields, Shining Rock all in much better shape. They keep putting money into buildings for weddings, antique cars, RVs etc, but not a penny into the golf course... Not going back.

Too bad, I like that course. Played it earlier this year and it was OK, tee boxes were beat up but the rest of it wasn't bad.

been a tough year (for some) to grow grass (in new England)

late start + summer drought + consistent heat/humidity that just now easing up

any public doing 30k rounds in 5months going to show some wear

OP, haven't played there this year, (played last year) but I agree with you. They've gotten out of touch with today's golfer & pricing. Handful of better courses have opened in the last 5 years but Blissful hasn't adjusted. It's too bad cause the course offers to different 9 hole layouts.

Played here after hearing rave reviews from some friends. For the prices they charge I was thoroughly unimpressed. I likely won't return. Rather play The Highfields which is in the same area.

[/quote]They better spend some $$ on reclamation projects and improve watering capability then.

I wrote off BM (ha! BM! Get it? Rhymes with Vowel Movement. ) after one tourney a few years ago, the worst staff/marshalls on any course I'd been to. Radios at full blast... while swinging, driving carts through woods, while hitting, etc... Like you were getting in the way of their job or something.

Typically the course is pretty good overall, not great but good overall track. But this past summer really seems to have beat up the course and grass in the fairways in particular was really bad. Hopefully they fix it up for 2016 as it is a fun course to play.

Pretty cool layout, conditions have went significantly downhill the last few years. Greens were in very poor condition for most of last season and the fairways were dead.

Just played it this past weekend and the course has recovered from last year's hot summer. Again decent course but it really needs better grass throughout to be a top flight course. Challenging overall and fun to play in a nice area too.
