I'll toss the new chart at the bottom, but yes, Gold is as flat as it gets. 3.75° flat.

To OP-topical, I go back and forth with a set of Ping Eye2+, and my usual blades. The Pings are nice in that they're virtually indestructible, probably having a half-life, and that they spin less than what I see with my blades. As I appear to be a higher spin player, this is a good thing. :)

Also will trot out my Zing Blonde 1 and 3 wood from time to time, played the last round of the 2015 season with them. May use them more often next year, we'll see how that goes...

Oh yeah, the color code chart:

I have to admit I have a set of the steel version Eye-2+ ... I couldn't possibly resist them after seeing this :)

Am still after a 2+ Orange Dot Lob Wedge with KT-M shaft if anyone has one they want to part with !

Knew this wouldn't be a good thread to peak at! Acquired a set of EUC Ping Eye 2 woods (1, 4, 7) at an estate sale awhile back for peanuts. Shamefully, I never hit them once all season. Cleaned them up and sat them in the corner. Plus, have various classic Ping putters sitting around. Now, getting these notions that MAYBE I should think about a set of Eye 2 irons to complete the all Ping classic kit. Being a non-golfer during the Eye 2's heyday, never played them. Getting this vibe that every self-respecting classic golfer should have a set of Eye 2's in inventory.

I do not need another set of irons, repeat do not. What can I sell to raise capital?

Don't forget you'll also NEED the nice White Ping Staff bag to put them all in ...

You're a funny guy B-J. Don't want to look like a poser (with an all white staff bag).

It's a nice bag - but for display purposes only !

I'm strictly a Jones Original golf bag poser :)

Now that brings back some good memories. When I would walk onto the course with a set up close to yours, I could hear others say " Looks like we are in trouble today". That was only before they saw me play. HAHAHA. Nice setup.

Awesome.

Though it appears a KBS attempted a photobomb over in the corner. Should snap it in half on principle.

That is actually a Sergio Garcia Putterball ... a putting aid that I wasted £50 on many years ago, back when I was young and stupid, and paid full price for shiny new golf things ... :)

Duly noted. You get extra awesome points for the headcover, too....and the lever style door 'knobs' that are all over Europe--so much better than the stupid round rotators here. But I digress...

That whole setup just takes me back to a good place.

I play Karsten II irons regularly. Either with 3-5 Ping black laminates, or with something a little more modern, like an old GBB. Since I play minimalist and walk, my mid size white staff Ping bag (a cast off bag rescued in excellent condition) sits in the garage holding the clubs I'm not hitting. A brown original Pingman or Jones carry bag is more appropriate for me.

The laminate 3W plays as good any driver I have. The irons, bought 15 years ago for $84 with tax, are fantastic. They're the only irons I wouldn't think of selling.

Early in hand photos of the new GT2 models t the truck.  As soon as they show up on the range in player's bags we'll get some better from the top photos and hopefully some comparison photos against the last model.
