Yep, vintage jackpot. Well done. You win today's internets.

Had the Mac JN Muirfield putter in semi-regular rotation this year. When I felt like playing a 8802 style blade putter. Very nice feel to it. Does it have the original leather grip? Like the look of those JN Limited Edition woods (swept back soleplate). Persimmon I bet. And Hogan's also! Others will arrive with more details.

And you may be able to spin those Ping balls for $$ to some Sooner fan just prior to their NC semi game.

Laissez les bons temps rouler!

We're missing the bit where you tell us all this gear was "free to a good home", or $10, or some other ridiculously low amount :)

Some nice clubs in that lot. Was Jeff Powell anyone well known in golfing circles ? I see that name on the back of the VIP blade ?

I like the 1-iron ... you can never have enough 1-irons in your vintage collection!

What is not in the pictures btw ... the stuff that you haven't showed us yet ? :)

The Muirfield putter does have the original brown leather grip.

The Geolow has double sight lines in the top line. Are those standard?

I actually have no plans to keep much of this. Feel free to make me an offer on any of it. It won't be "free to good home" though ;)

Jeff Howell is probably well known. Made his way around the Southeast and worked at some major golf clubs. He is a friend of my dad who does some work (painting) for him. He is friends with Leonard Thompson and this is the second set of custom irons I have that were made for Mr. Thompson. Mr. Thompson has 3 wins on tour with the last being the 1989 Buick Open. He also has 3 Champions Tour Wins.

Jeff Howell's name is also embroidered on the staff bag.

He was head womens golf coach at my Alma Mater, the University of South Carolina. Part of this score was a original Jones carry bag with "Carolina" along the side. It has seen its better days.

The items that aren't pictured I figured didn't have any value. There is one of those big headed putters jack used to win the '86 Masters. There is writing on the face of it. There is also a Bullseye putter that says "Old Grand Dad" on it.

Go ahead and post pictures of everything else! We love to look at old clubs. The bullseye also holds value to some people. I like to buff those up to a mirror like finish and give them as gifts.

The hogans? Do they have a shaft band on them?
The ping balls, is the best thing in my opinion, there is a good sized following of people who collect the two tones.

The kettlebell has no value in my opinion.

Sorry - I meant that you probably picked it all up for peanuts ... not that you should give it away to us ... :)

One of the Hogans has a Vector 4 shaft and the other has a Apex D.

May post pictures of the rest later.

WOW do not know how I missed this party! I am very familuar with Leonard Thompson he is originally from North Myrtle beach SC. He and my Dad were friends and my dad played golf with him some in the 70s at the old Robbers Roost course in NMB. I have heard my Dad mention Jeff Howell in the past but personally I never have met him. What VIP iron is that? Those irons of Leonard Thompson appear to be early/mid 70s custom forged Top-Flites. That Mac Staff bag is awesome too that is the full sized version I have the mini staff tartan version. Great finds

Early in hand photos of the new GT2 models t the truck.  As soon as they show up on the range in player's bags we'll get some better from the top photos and hopefully some comparison photos against the last model.
