What Is Your Favorite Beach In Florida?

One more for Siesta Key. To me its all about the shells. Marco island is absolutely beautiful, but there's so many shells. It's a struggle to walk barefoot. Siesta key is nothing but pure white sand.

I am born and raised in St.Petersburg. We have some great beaches near by but I would vote for Siesta Key. The sand is like a mixture of flour and sand. Very soft , clean and white.

Siesta key is obviously getting the majority of votes here but can anyone tell me how Anna Maria island is in comparison? (Not necessarily looking for any kind of nightlife just more for relaxation)

I live 20 minutes from both and Anna Maria is a little more laid back and less congested than SK.

Both have the same white, soft sand and the sunset views on AMI are spectacular.
