Haha oh man I've been put on the spot.... the hair is somewhat missing as I age (haha ok not that old 27) but I can do a decent chili.....

 

Oh and I accept the nominations and look forward to this. Thanks for the hype about my leadership skills. also this will not be a dictatorship haha. You guys have all played a part and I will look forward to input. At some point, if this gets going and gets big enough, maybe we can get the site. Behind us and get some funding for prizes or even an outing for players (being selected by drawing so not only the good players go).

Also, I'm logged in permanently on my phone but am having trouble logging in on my computer and I think it's a username issue. The only name I see on my phone app is my full name. I asked for a new password but still can't log in. Where on your app is your username shown?

Yes you will have to leave the current club you're a part of due to not being able to be a member of two different clubs on the app. I found out my username by trying to sign in without my email. I tried all my usuals until one got it right haha. Not sure if there is a way to find it other wise.

 

Or do what jacot said about creating a new one with new email.

The biggest issue we will face doing this is obviously the geographical aspect of it. Not sure how strict the USGA is on this but if it's like they are on the rules/decisions they make for tournaments then it could be bleak haha. The other issue I see is trying to being able to choose/ask to join the club. As of now, the app basically laces you into a club based on your location. Not sure if there is a way to bypass that or not. I'm sure they could do an update to their system but who knows.

 

My thought on it- when you download the app you should be asked about joining either the local Grint club, ask to join a private club, or neither as some don't care about HC and just want the app for the stat keeping as this app is (in my opinion) the best out there for this in terms of ease of use and what they provide to you for free.

I just can't think of a good reason NOT to leave my current club which is actually ~50 miles away.

Been trying to get the guys at my course to join The Grint instead of paying for an annual hdcp but they act like I'm trying to sell them insurance.

Ya I'm not anything special haha. I'm 14.6 right now. Lowest was a 12. Goal is to get down to 10 this year so I think doing this club thing with others that I can converse with and see the stats will help me for sure get better

I'm a little confused here at to what leaving my current club means? I'm a ClubCorp member in Denver and my USGA/GHIN dues are paid thru my membership. Is this the club we're referring to? I don't think so but want to be sure.

It is most definitely not. There is NO connection between The Grint and your proper USGA/GHIN associated club :)
