I mean let's be honest here. Callaway and TaylorMade woods are vastly better than any other company. If you have your choice of who to sign with, there are only two choices at this point if you want to play the very best.

Nonsense. Cobra and Ping make some terrific woods. I fit hundreds of players each year at all handicap levels and no one OEM has ever emerged as CLEARLY superior to the others. Both the Cobra King Ltd and Ping G outperformed TM and Callaway for me, including the Epic and the newer M1 and M2. Getting the right shaft flex, weight, length, head loft, and face angle have far more positive effects than blindly stating the superiority of a particular marque.

I mean for good players that bring it. Literally 85% of our 45 guys play M series or Epic, and we hit everything. Just about every head and shaft combination you can think of. These are guys that hit the ball solidly and most play competitive golf up to the highest level. What your average 15 handicap fits best in, I have no idea.

Who are "our guys"?

If you had qualified your original statement about what is best for elite players, I would have partially agreed with you. Did these players pay for their drivers or get invited to a fitting center and supplied the best fit at no charge?

For the other 99.8% of golfers there are many fine choices.

It's good Tiger was seen extensively testing Mizuno irons and Callaway woods. The Epics were so impressive he signed with TaylorMade. The Mizunos must have been equally impressive as he decided to stay with his Nike irons until a new design can be created with Taylormade.. Guess the epic isn't the "showstopper" it was cracked up to be. Oh I forgot Rory was so impressed he broke a rib playing the epic..
