Integra i-Win & In1Zone Single length clubs - Any feedback?

OK,

So there are some new 1 length component options out there.

https://www.valuegolf.com/integra-i-win-single-length-iron-heads

http://www.diamondtour.com/golf-components/club-heads/irons/in1zone-single-length-iron-set.html

I was wondering if anyone has had a chance to hit either of those 2 brands, and if you can provide feedback.

Thanks.

A few guys on golfbuzz have tried the In1zone's, and possibly the iWin too. FYI, the iWin's have progressive offset....not well thought out. Dave Tutleman did a nice write up on the concept and compared some of the available options, In1zone's included-

I saw Tutleman's writeup. However all of it is computer modelling, and not real-world.

I feel that progressive offset in SL irons is a good thing. So did Wishon and Cobra.

The cast model has progressive offset that's noticeable from club to club, the forged model has identical offset of 1.3mm in the Gap wedge - 7 iron, 6 is 1.5mm, 5 is 1.8mm and the 4 is 2.0mm. Indistinguishable from address. I have both sets. They both work equally well. Not so sure why Cobra used progressive flex shafts in the Forged set, much prefer the flexes being the same. Rebuilt the cast model with Steelfiber I110 X tipped to a 7 iron shaft at 37.75"

I bought the driver head and an Adams wood shaft from DTG. With the grip, I have about $75 in the club. I bought the 12* head. I trimmed the wood shaft using 3 wood tip trimming spec. My home courses in Florida wind though our community and the term narrow doesn't even come close to describing them. The courses are short but accuracy is paramount so the idea of a 42" driver got my attention. The head weighed in at 219 grams and at 42" I got a D2 SW. The club is in my bag for the foreseeable future. It is easy to hit straight and I have not lost any distance. I can swing with confidence (step on it!) and all my ball marks are around the center of the face. It's a little loud but most of my drives are ending up where my best drives with a 46" driver (Cobra and TM) were.

I put together two sets of In1zone's as Xmas presents, one for my nephew, 5-pw, aw, and sw, all at 37", TT dynalite 109 shafts, with Tacki Mac tour select grips. For my dad I built him a short set, with the 5h, 7i, 9i, AW, and SW with prolaunch blue axis shafts at 37". I will say they look pretty good in person, I would def say they are SGI in size with low/moderate offset. The top line is moderate with a bevel so its not clunky at all. Satin finish. Weights were between 272 - 277. The weights on the rear/sole are not usable and stick into the cavity.....not sure why they used these in the design as there is no function to them, as there are not weights for sale for SW purpose. Would have been much cleaner to not have them. Not a big issue. Overall I like the way they look.

These heads look, feel, and hit great. For me it was a really easy adjustment and almost felt natural. In the past if I went to the range I always struggled going to the longer clubs then dropping back to the irons. Especially the wedges I just think this could help my lower back issues as well.

I shafted with the matrix Program 130. I’m almost thinking of going just a bit lighter. Maybe 100-90 grams. Just don’t want to lose control for just a bit of distance.

What about the hideous grooved soles of the In1Zones? What were they thinking? I guess I should just ignore the looks, put the set together and see how they play.

they look good at address, that's what's important, at least IMO. I agree the scalloped sole looks stupid, but then again some boutique wedge companies have some pretty silly looking grinds that people slobber over and one of them looks somewhat similar to this design. I doubt it has any meaningful function. If you are looking for an inexpensive way to expirament with SL, then give em a go! Pinhawks would be another option. Not a fan of the Iwin progressive offset as they go from 6.6mm in the 5i to 3.6mm in PW, that's a big difference and IMO will be noticeable to the eye. I can see a slight variation that might offer some help with launch in the longer irons but not a spread of 3mm on an iron of the same length.

I have paired a set of the Integra heads, 9-LW, with my existing Wishon 870ti high-COR heads (bent to proper spec) and have been pleased with the results. iWin heads look to be based on the G30 irons. Nice sole grind for a digger. Heads made of 431SS and are reasonably soft. Quite forgiving. A wee bit of offset, but doesn't look too bad to my eye.

I also have a set of Sterling heads in the similar 9-LW setup, and I don't see any real difference in performance with those and the iWin heads. Not that I really would in those lofts, but anyway...

Slap a few grams of lead tape over the badge in the iWin cavity and people won't know what they are. lol

I ended up shafting these with a set of Axe Tour 105 shafts I had. Used a few of the longer iron shafts in the 5,6,7 heads. Used the middle irons in the 8,9 heads. Used the wedge shafts in the wedge heads. I had to epoxy butt extensions in but that doesn't matter to me. Hopefully It'll work out and feel decent. Give me a little extra height in the 5 iron and a lower flight in the wedges.
