Arrives this Friday. What exactly does it do to help and how will it help my horrible 2 way miss?

I noticed today that I need to start my backswing slower......and stay slow. Its not ingrained, so when I don't think about it....I dont go slow and whip my hands inside. Slow = pretty good results.

Still can't hit the driver with any power or accuracy. Almost feels like I load into the right and nothing goes forward besides my arms & body (no legs). My golf buddies commented that I went forward with my shoulder/body....like a lunge forward, not a push forward from the back leg/knee.

Then from there it gives you more width in your right arm and keeps your swing short, more upright and on plane. It takes getting used to, so make a lot of practice swings with it before trying to hit balls with it on.

Very good explanation! Thank you for that. Definitely will help.

You mentioned sequencing is off, and it feels off. Good call. How / what can I work on to get sequencing back?

Hard to golf when every shot = try something different to get the intended results.

Still can’t get the downswing to start with the legs / knees going forward and don’t know if a feel / drill to help. Any advice all knowing oracle :)

Has anyone worked with John Benkovic in McLean, VA? I emailed him because I saw him on Ballard's page as was interested in going down this route but when he replied he mentioned that he was at a Golftec.

Speedster just so you know it was your refinements you spoke of that lead me to tweak JB's method.Thank you . Your pic of Justin Thomas really hit home. Never noticed before but that is exactly how I finish just not to the extreme extant he does. Up on left and right toes. Nothing I had to think about just happens. I firmly believe body shape, flexibility etc needs to be considered in any swing "method". In my case the overly wide stance prohibited loading and getting my back to the target. With narrowing my stance probably to a point JB wouldn't like I was able to really load and create tension and lets me unload I also took a weaker grip with my right which really helped me unload. What JB's method did do for me was get me more vertical especially with the glove trainer and standing taller at address. I also probably bring the club inside too much for JB's liking but I still get width. Inside take away really maintains connection for me. Never struck the ball this good ever.
