I know there will be a lot of people that may disagree with me but my favorite has to be Tiger. I am really glad that he is off a little with his driver which keeps him in trouble, but also what makes him so fun to watch. Not so much because of the length off of the tee, but his recovery shots. It puts all of us amateurs at amazement that he pulls of the shots but the pros that play along beside him are also amazed that he pulls them shots off. There are times with in a round that you may try one of them miracle shots and it works, but Tiger does this all the time. He swings so hard out of the rough some times he turns around 180 degrees and the ball still lands on the green. If I swung that hard I would not have any idea where the ball was going.

He sure make golf interesting to watch if he is winning or not, or at least for me

That is to watch a round of golf. To watch a player's swing I would have to go with "The Big Easy" Ells I think he has the smoothest swing in golf.

It's Phil for me. You never know if you're gonna get "Phil the thrill" with his gambler's attitude that he can hit any shot he wants, or the recent more calculating throttled back Phil (circa '04 Masters).

Daly is also a lot of fun to watch for different reasons.

I like to watch Chris Dimarco because he allways seems to be in control and ver personable and has great family values.

JD is always fun to watch just because you never know what he might do on the course. Expect the unexpected.

I'm tired of the big 3 (TW, VS, & PM) they get to much airtime no matter where they are in the field.

John Daly - immensely talented and powerful

Ernie Els and Elkington - beauty and effortlessness... :cheesy:

Thomas Björn - he's my man and You never know what You're gonna get!

PGA Tour

Tiger - Duh. That's easy.

Ernie Els - Just to watch that classic swing

Adam Scott - A future superstar, wonderful swing

Jonathan Byrd - I've always admired this guy, especially after his surgery and comeback.

Phil Mickelson - Around the green he's sublime. Always seems to have a good attitude.

Sergio Garcia - You're always in for some fun watching him, and his gallery typically has several hoochies.

Fredrik Jacobson - Funky clothes and hairdo, and he's a very, very creative shotmaker

Hank Kuehne - to watch him bomb his Driver

Greg Norman - He's has a very strong "presence" on the course

Sean O'Hair - Ever since seeing him at the Byron Nelson, I've always rooted for this guy.

LPGA

Annika - How can you not watch her? Incredible.

Christie Kerr - My favorite LPGA player. I realize she can have a temper, but I still think she's cute.

Natalie Gulbis - "nuf said here.

Erica Blasberg - Ditto!

Paula Creamer - Supremely talented and incredibly confident, with a healthy dose of ego.

Beth Bauer, Jill McGill, Chris Tschetter and Carin Koch - all cuties I'll watch, if they're on TV.

Reilly Rankin - very talented - I'm hoping she'll win soon.

Shi Hyun Ahn - Great swing and composure

Grace Park and Karrie Webb - Wonderful players

Sophie Sandolo - Italian player on the Euro LPGA tour. Very racy calendar.

European Tour

Darren Clarke - Darren is always guaranteed for some theatrics, or a good cigar at the end of a win!

Luke Donald - A Solid player, great swing.

Padraig Harrington - plays slow, but very talented

Miguel Angel Jimenez - A Winna!

Nick O'Hern - I don't know why, but I've always rooted for this guy

Ian Poulter - always guaranteed for a fashion statement and some political commentary.

Nationwide Tour

I'll watch anybody on the Nationwide. These are all talented guys looking for a shot at the PGA Tour.

I'll watch many others, but these are my favorites.

I enjoy watching Phil because he is a classy guy. I followed him during this second round at the WGC at Harding. Even though he did not play up to his standards, he was fun to watch. What I really enjoy about him his is continued acknowledgement of the crowd. Also, he gives out his autograph to anyone he wants it. I watched him patiently sign numerous autographs. And he signed everyones. What a great guy.

Retief - smooth classic swing. very stoic. I wish I could keep my emotions under wraps like he does.

Sergio - plays with a lot of emotion & isn't afraid to show it. I like to watch a player w/personality.

Vijay - great player who is cast as a villain. I disagree - I find it refreshing to hear what a player is actually thinking and not afraid to say it.

Phil - I love watching the gambler & cringe when he takes a chance & it doesn't pay off. Very entertaining.

Monty - he is awesome during ryder cup - he just seems to hole everything. Another person with a temper & not afraid to show it or comment about it.

I'm a big Tiger fan. Maybe it's because of the trouble he gets inm but some of the imaginative shots he comes up with are unreal. And when his swing is on it's a thing of beauty.

I'm also a huge Freddie fan--been one for a really long time. I just love that nice, fluid swing of his. And I guess I'd have to say Ernie for that same exact reason. These two guys don't even look like they're trying!

Garcia. He strikes it so well, has touch around the green, and shows emotion. If he could putt like he did early on he would have won a major. His game just seems to get better every year. Other than him I like Furyk because at times he can just go super low on a Sunday. I don't really care for guys who aren't feel players because if their motion is off they are cooked. CH3 kills me to watch. He just doesn't seem to hit any shots just a full nuke swing on everything. Elk is also great if he graces a tourney with his presence.

I have to admit, I miss the likes of David Duval, he was so friggin intense, it was great fun while it lasted.

ViJay is always good, Jim Furyk, Davis Love III, Fred Couples, John Daly, and Darren Clark. Tiger Woods is the best golfer I've ever seen, therefore It's fun to pit guys against him, he's supposed to win, and that is why I root against Tiger. :ok: ;) :cheesy:

p. s. Beruo, you're right about Shigeki being enjoyable to watch, I completely

forgot about him until you mentioned his name, good call.

Although I love to watch Phil and appreciate his interaction and recognition of his fans, I LOVE to watch Shigeki Maruyama (a little surprised he hasn't been mentioned yet). The man has great game, infectious smile, and seems generally pleasant on the course. I know he gets ripped on the forums sometimes for smoking too much and for getting after his entourage, but he is one of the few players I see that doesn't scowl when his 75-foot putt stops 2 inches short (hello Tiger).

The usual suspects:

Ernie - The swing

Tiger - Just because

Freddie - So laid back he's almost comatose

A few others would be:

Darren Clarke - For the complete lack of fashion sense and most of the time looks like he is there for fun as well as the competition

Miguel Angel Jimenez - Another cigar smoking, just almost doing it for fun type golfer.

Sergio - Infectious good humour and amazing shot making capabilities when he is on form
