I think the TV director really wants to be doing a nature documentary. A golf shot, a shot of the coastline, a golf shot, a shot of the plains, a golf shot, a shot of a seagull in flight...

Is David Attenborough in the commentary box?

He might as well be, for all the insight (or lack thereof) the actual announcers bring to the proceedings.

I'm very surprised at Michelle's +4 round. Only 2 birdies on the day when birdies were definitely out there for the taking. Lydia was a little better avoiding mistakes with a 2 under round, but only 1 birdie isn't going to win this thing, or make the cut for that matter.

Dame Laura! Showing the kids how it's done :)

I was watching her and wondering why is she playing with all these old guys at St. Andrews. Then I realized I'm watching Colin Montgomerie :)

Wie hasn't been at all consistent since winning early in the year. I know she said she was fighting a had injury.

I do miss the days of when she was a free swinger, she had so much length. Now, sadly, she's just "average." I've been wrong about her before, but she's not getting any younger, and there are better players who coming up that hit it a long and straight.

Yeah it looks like Lydia is gonna get a early start for the Ricoh (not necessarily a bad thing) and Michelle is very surprising to me also she has that low stinger that is perfect for Links golf. IMO links struggles for those who didn't grow playing it is a mindset or approach type thing. Phil Mickelson who has every shot in the bag was very resistant for lack of a better term to play the links style and it almost took 2 decades for him to come around. Tiger who has every shot in the bag also embraced the links style and found using the creativity to be a challenge had success very early. I guess that's why it will always be that certain top pro's on any other week finish near the top of the leaderboard finish near the bottom of the on links courses. IMO some players embrace the challenge while other just see it as a grind to get through.

I have to say, I do like them just having someone stop by the booth for 30mins and have a chat while watching the coverage.

Another solid round by Tiffany to keep the lead for the moment at -13. Amy (-8) and Lee-Anne (-7) are still on the course, but unlikely to catch her. Three major winners (Ariya, Sung Hyun, So Yeon, and In-Kyung ) are within 7 shots, so this this is far from settled.

That was rather funny when Tiff mentioned that she could hear the JAWS theme whenever she saw a Jutanugarn near the top of the leaderboard.

That sets up a bit of intrigue for the weekend. Never heard a tournament leader say anything like that about his/her closest challenger. Not that I want to make any prognostications based on it as Ariya probably scares herself out of contention half the time.

Then there's Mi Hyang Lee - reigning champion with a very long, loose swing.

Wow, that was brutal. Major kudos to the players shooting under par in those conditions. Survival was the name of the game.

It should be an interesting final round. I hope the conditions are a little easier. There was a huge gap between the best scores and the worst scores, so pretty much anything is possible tomorrow.

Always been a fan of Amy's, sadly just so much unfulfilled potential in her career IMO.

Amy Yang's swing is a thing of beauty, and I'd be happy to see her win. But today I'm rooting for Haeji Kang. Nothing against Ariya, Minjee, Carlota, SYR and JY Ko. But I'd like to see Haeji Kang lift the trophy here. I even dreamed of her..... ! I'm sure that's meaningless but who knows....
