Driver fitting in AZ, preferably no upcharge shafts

I'm Mr. Average. 90 MPH etc. In Arizona this winter, splitting time between PHX and Tucson. I'd like to get fitted to a driver by a knowledgeable and hopefully full-time fitter but would like to be able to use no-upcharge shafts. Or at least nothing crazy like $300+ upcharge. Where do you suggest?

 

As an alternative, I am considering the buy-try-return if unsatisfied idea, new or used, if a store offers it. I am pretty sure that 2nd Swing Scottsdale does that. Any other retailers you'd recommend for that approach?

Way better off looking in Phoenix. Tucson is lacking. I feel like you are probably better off just paying for driver fitting at a place like Cool Clubs or wherever. Pay their fee, collect your data, then set off looking for same or similar set up in the open market. Usually ends up being cheaper. At least that's my take after reading several of these.

 

I know you can pull the buy return strategy at PGA Superstore in either Tucson or Phoenix. Might take a little longer, but if you are Mr Avg, they might get you in the right set up on the first try. Lot's of options in that category....

Any decent sized golf store should have no upcharge shafts to plug into their demo driver heads.

 

Make sure you understand the buy/try/return theme though.

 

Some stores (PGATSS ?) have a buy it/try it/ return it ONCE for SAME DAY STORE CREDIT (i.e. you have to KEEP the 2nd item(s))

 

Some stores I understand you can do the try/buy/return a couple of times (Worldwide/Edwin Watts) within the original 90 day period.

You could try going to the Ping HQ in Scottsdale. They do free fittings.
