My name is Richard and I am from Michigan. I am 38 years old, have 2 children and a beautiful wife. My children are 6 and 3 years old. Oldest is a boy.

 

I play to a 3.3 index (Just edited it. Went down!!!) and love this game. Played junior golf then left the game till I was 27 when I started again. Since then I have been certifiable. A golfing freak, and I am fine with that.

 

 

Now it is a 5.5 index (oOoooOOoouch- having a hard time? Yes. Went up since this post)

 

Now it is 2.3 index (yummm- playin the best ever right now)

I'm 44 years young with a wonderful hearing impaired 7 yr old son who's doing so great in local public schools that we moved back from St. Louis 2-3 years ahead of planned schedule thus freeing up some $$$ for ho'ing. And I'm blessed that he never throws tantrums or give us some s***.

 

I work in the office for my father's family new automobile dealership(Chevy, Pontiac & Buick) that's still going strong since 1930.

I'm Jim Cardosi. I'm 42 and own a golf training aid company south of Chicago (infomercial coming out soon with Kostis, McCord and Feherty). As a result, I'm working with several guys on tour, as well as over 60 of Golf Magazine's and Golf Digest's Top 100 Teachers. I'm married to a wonderful lady that provided me with an instant, package deal family. Her kids are both boys and grown and gone now. The closest thing to kids I have of my own (I think) are 2 dogs. As with most here, golf is a passion, a hobby and as important as the air I breathe.

 

Anyhow, great to be here, great to see some close friends and anxious to meet others.

Just love to play golf...play Poppy Ridge in Livermore (www.poppyridge.com) almost exclusively. Love to experiment with new clubs all the time, mostly tour issue, but I'll play whatever works.

I have a small business(portland, oregon) in the motorsport industry making aftermarket and oem parts I design and manufacture, I also write/photo articles for a known publication in the sport.

 

But I just love golf.. eat sleep breathe golf... doesn't matter if I'm hoing or playing its good times!

I only started playing at 33(now 37)...

My name is Sean, I have a wife, a stepdaughter, 2 dogs, and 2 cats. It's like an animal farm here, and I'm the only male so I'm outnumbered as well. I'm a physicist, I worked through college at a golf course and got pretty good by playing with friends and coworkers there. Now I HAPPILY (...anyone who ever worked a course knows why I say happily) pay my green fees and play twice a week.

Most of you know me as Joe Kwok The club maker, Going 43 year old this year.

Love the game and tweaking the clubs, That is why I'm in this bussiness after a few bad experiences w/ other clubmakers back 13 years ago.

 

1 Wife w/ 2 Boys ( Going 12 and going 8 soon ).

 

My Degree from college doesn't stop me to become a clubmaker. In fact I found love when i'm working quitely at 10pm at night trying to tweak it right. Call me compulsive but that is who I am. :lol:

I am 31 years old and married for nearly 5 years. We recently moved from a suburb of Indianapolis (Fishers) to just north of Nashville, TN (Gallatin).

 

I have played golf for nearly 20 years (very hard to imagine as I counted the time). I was introduced to the game at Fort Ord, CA while my dad was stationed with a light infantry unit. A friend and I attended middle school at the facility that borders the 8th Fairway on the BlackHorse course. To boot, he and I lived just off the 11th and 12th holes on the Bayonet course. We were in golf heaven and didn't even know it.

 

All that time, and I have just now been fitted for a custom set. I went to the Titleist Performance Institute's program last November. It was incredible to say the least. I had been playing DCI+ Oversize Blacks for the last 8 years. The TAP staff determined that I try their 690 MBS --- I arrived at TPI convinced that they would move me into the 704s. Their testing and insight gave me all the confidence to finally try a blade. I have to admit they were right -- my ball flight has never been more consistent and the feedback is amazing. It doesn't hide my flaws, but that's precisely what I need to improve. I just completed my 5th round. Even with winter's rust, I am already seeing vast potential for development --- even notched a 74 at my new club.

My name is Brad, just turned 33 and living in St. Louis. I'm a supervisor (the guy everyone calls Pit Boss) at one of the local casinos. Weekends and holidays at work sucks, but I play during the week when the rates are lower.

 

I've been building and working on clubs for about a dozen years since I found out that S-300 shafts and standard lie angles don't work for me or about 75% of the people I know. Since then, I've become good enough to have a side business doing club repair and building for a few local shops and ranges. It keeps me in ho'in money.

 

I'm finally going to "quality over quantity" and am slowly whittling my vast stash of clubs down to 2-3 mostly Tour bags. As always, I'm looking for the bigger, better club, but like Eldrick says "I'm almost there..."

 

It's good to see a lot of names here that I've seen (and traded with!) on other sites. I hope I can contribute something useful on occasion. Thanks!
