Atmos Tour Spec Black vs Project X Hzrdus Black

Can someone compare these two in terms of feel, stability, flight, launch, spin. Thank you!

Feel = Atmos by far,

stability=tie,

flight= Atmos May be the straightest shaft I have hit, Hzrdus is easier to work left and right.

Launch= Hzrdus fair amount lower for me.

Spin= Hzrdus lower for me.

 

At the end of the day I play the HZRDUS Black because I don’t mind the feeling and love the lower launch and spin. If I could have the Atmos feel and flight but with lower launch and spin I would play that.

My swing borders in between S and X. The atmos black ts stiff seems too soft and unstable. I play the X in driver and doesn't seem like an X. The Hzrdus black i have in hybrids is ultra stable and best of all I can work in both directions and very controllable and stable. I'm considering an hzrdus black 75 stiff in fairway wood or Atmos Black TS 7X in fairway wood.

My comments are pretty similar to Whiskey's. I tried the black for a short time, but was too low spin ( for me). I find the Atmos black pretty solid in the driver, and love it in my Fairway. I have the Atmos tour spec tour stiff in the fairway and finally found a fairway that I like. If the black fits in other applications, then I think it makes sense for you to use it.

The biggest difference between these shafts is the mid section. The Atmos TS Black has a dip in the mid section that likely makes it feel a bit softer/easier to load. The HZRDUS Black is a lot more linear and is stiffer through that section, giving what would probably be considered a more stable "one piece" feel whereas the Atmos TS Black will definitely have more of a loading sensation due to both that softer mid section and the comparably much stiffer lower mid/tip section below it and proportionately stiffer butt section above it. This makes that softer mid section feel more like a "hinge" or a "loading zone" which will feel great to some but maybe less stable to others, especially when compared to something like the HZRDUS Black.

Have the 7x TS Black in my 15 degree and the Hzrdus Black 80x in my 19 degree.

3 wood is cut down to 42 inches (but not tipped, tmk) and overall feels more stout than the Hzrdus. Both very stable top to bottom but with sufficient 'feel', for my tastes.

In my experience, the main difference is launch. I've not found the PX Black to be a low launching shaft, while the Atmos TS black most definitely is.

That's really well put. 

I tested HZRDUS black for a little while when it came out.. it was awesome but had the feel was a bit harsh.. I loved the shaft and hated it at the same time, then it broke under the grip (seems like a common spot).. By then the testing had moved onto HZRDUS T1100, which was vastly better, I guess I hated it enough that I actually turned down a replacement from TT. Then my T1100 broke at the tip.. Fujikura guys read about my mishaps and offered me a TS Black to try. At the time my feeling was that it's sort of a softer T1100. The feel is worldly better than HZRDUS Black, very close to what T1100 felt but not quite as stout. 

 

Then PX came out with Even Flow Black.. and it feels almost identical with Atmos TS Black. I never actually looked at the bend profile of these two but I suspect they are very similar.
