New Mizuno T-20 wedges (49*, 51*, 56*, 58* & 60*)

T-20 Wedges comparison question. I just ordered MP-20 MB's and went with a 50 degree T-20 to start to fill the gap wedge slot but am thinking of replacing my 54 and 58 Callaway PM Grinds as well. My issue with the PM G's is that they're not very forgiving either in full shots off the fairway or touch shots around the greens. Even with the varying bounces I have 8 & 10 I find I have to hit perfect shots to not dig ditches in soft ground situations or in think stuff around the greens. I find myself using my Apex AW now that has the much more rounded leading edge to avoid the chunks. Many times I hit the PM G's well but man there's payback if I don't catch it just right.

My new 50, 55 and 60 just arrived yesterday. They look incredible. Cold here, but may try and get them out tomorrow to test them.

Got to try out the stock 58 today- absolutely loved it compared to my 58. Definitely heavier swing weight when compared to my Ping but I enjoyed it a lot. Also, really loved the ball flight. When I relaxed, it seemed to swing itself. Fantastic wedge that could easily go in the bag. Like a few have said here, the wedges are a little former than I remember. The Mizuno wedges I hit before the boron was added were definitely softer feeling. That being said these did not sound/feel bad. Just firmer than what I had thought they would feel like. Overall, these do have my thinking about putting them in the bag. Might do a couple of their custom grinds if I do.

Ok. I bagged the new 60*10 RAW with a tour issue black DG S400. I had one range session with it, the feel is certainly not soft BUT but I credit it that more so so the shaft. On the course this weekend, we had a rainy day in Florida. I can tell you that by the end of the round, there was rust all over the head, never played a raw wedge, was surprised how quick it happened. I used it for the majority of shots around the green and it was excellent. I use it twice for full shots, one shot 87 and the other 67 and with this shaft, the ball absolutely holds the line. Very happy with it so far. My friend had his new JAWS wedges on the course with 110 KBS shafts, SIGNIFCANTLY softer, loved the look at address.

Reshafted mine with the MMT 125 graphite shafts from MCA and they are just the right combination of pure with great feedback.

how did you like the grind? did you open up the face at all? trying to decide between the 60.10 and 60.06 but can't find any to demo here. I currently play a vokey M grind

i tried them both and ultimately ended up going with the 10 degree's of bounce, my home course is rarely dry. You'll enjoy the 6 degrees of bounce more if you're looking to open that bad boy up

Have the raw wedges come out in the lower lifts? Think they were due in Jan.

I’ll pull the trigger on a 50/54/58 set when they are all available in raw.
