I suspect "Iron Bryon" would be challenged noticing any differences between those clubs. But in the hands of average Joe Ho, all sorts of differences probably scream out on account club performance (if there is such a thing) pales when faced with Joe the ho's swing mechanics or lack thereof.

Normally these types of comments are wishful thinking, but this time it might be true. Molinari’s custom “Callaway” irons do like identical to these 101’s.

I just got my MB-101's! Does anyone know if the dot before MB-101 means anything? The shots of the promo clubs don't have them...

Aside from badge differences the design similarities between your Mizuno MB101s and my shinier 620MBs are amazing. I suspect the dot is just for effect.

 

PS - When looking at the MB101's on Miura's site, the toe line appears different and the MB101 is placed different than your club. Not trying to scare you but where did you get those irons?

my set doesn't have the dot and mine are not paint filled.

I messaged Miura last night and their response was "This is our Global version of the MB-101. It does have a Y grind on the leading edge as a slight difference."

Interesting, where did you get them and can you post pictures of the 7 iron and the sole of the club?

mine came directly from Miura. plus the stock photo is what mine look like. very straight leading edge.

i came across a ebay seller from singapore who is selling the version with the dot. This is the pic they have of the sole. They also offer custom paint fill options.

Wow that paintfill in white looks nice. I'm very disappointed with the quality of the paintfill Miura uses on their irons now. On both my 501's and now MB101's just from using a wet towel the black fill came off on some irons. What is a good type of kit or paintfill brand to use if I wanted to fix or do in another color?

I'm pretty sure they are. Can only seem to get the dot versions here. To be honest, I didn't know Miura offered 2 different sets... But I'm glad I got these ones and I do prefer a slightly rounded off leading edge.
