hope he comes back better than ever! I know people like to hate because of his ego but he's a great competitor.

My old man in addition to being a club pro was also a certified athletic trainer. when I was growing up the reverse c was the rage. He warned me against it. He also showed me why. Looking back all the reverse c players had back problems later in life except 1 and that is Colin Montgomerie. But he swings so smooth and not violently I think that is why. Even Lee Trevino commented one night on Tiger snapping that left knee right after he got hurt in that US Open he won over Rocco. The one that really scares me now is Lexi Thompson her swing is so violent. I feel she will have back problems down the line. I hope she don't but just saying

Yup. A thing that always strikes me about videos of Tiger's swing back in the late 90s and early 00s is just how much torque he was putting on his left knee. It's absolutely no wonder it went out - hell, he was having surgery on it as early as his Stanford days.

All the strength training in the world isn't going to save your joints.

Golf is already one of the sports where you are less likely to get injured. Any less you are going to ping pong or ultimately swimming which is boring as heck. You've gotta live a little I guess. And it's not like previous generation golfers never got injured. Jack had his bionic hip and also stem cell surgery for his back. Wait... what? This will throw some guys for a loop lol.
