Snake Eyes Viper Tour 1

Anyone know anything about these? I’m on an 8802 style putter kick lately and ran across this on eBay. Any feedback from users that had them when they came out?

I played one for a couple years when they came out a little over 10 years ago. It's a great feeling putter imo. Also has a great shape as far as 8802 styles go.

I had one back in the day. I remember them having a little head heavy feel which I prefer. Nice soft yet assertive putter. Go for it!!!

Still have one in my basement. I was actually messing around with it the other day. Mine is a black finish with a milled face, but its fantastic. Like another poster said, the head feels a little heavier which I generally like, and the feel off the face is incredible.

I picked this one up for $60 on eBay, first one I’ve seen on there since I started looking at 8802 style flatsticks. Good to know there’s others out there floating around!

It is a good putter due to the weight, that if you like a milled face you can have the face milled to make it even softer and really lose no weight or feel of the head.

I actually have the Viper Tour 1,2&3 that I built because they’re a great looking set. Played the 3 for a couple of seasons.

Here’s my SV1. Was black when I built it 10 or 11 years ago. I stripped the black off a few years ago as the finish wore, then last winter I torched it. Love thus putter. Have 100g tour lock weight in it under a round leather grip. It’s heavy and smooth.

I used one for a few years then switched to the Black Viper milled model which came out after and which I still use today. They look great, feel great and have heavier heads than most 8802 style putters.
