GHIN App Not Working

I have been getting an “unable to connect” pop up since January 1st, even after GHIN was supposed to be live again. Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

I updated, and the app won't clear the number keys when I type in my ghin. I can't get to the last name field. Anyone else seeing this?

Mine updated but I can't log in... I typed in my # and then cant scroll down to type in my last name

I deleted the app and re installed and took care of the issue.

The mobile app for Android must be installed in a particular manner. For those of your members still having difficulty here is the complete set of steps:

Step 1: Uninstall the app completely

Step 2: Shut off and then re-boot your phone

Step 3: Go to Playstore and search for "GHIN Mobile" and install new app

Step 4: When logging into the app do not key in any leading zeros as part of your GHIN number

Step 5 NEW - You must type in your complete name one letter at a time using the keyboard. DO NOT USE the built-in Android Prompt to automatically fill in your last name. The prompt often adds an extra space after your name and then you will not log into the app. This is not a GHIN flaw - it is the sometimes troublesome feature of the Android keyboard.

I was having difficulty with the Android app. It now loads and runs.

growing pain. USGA/GHIN has been having issues with their new software for WHS. They have Fixed most issues but, still troubleshooting all the issues.

The new app doesn't work with "older" Iphones" ... Local survey showed Iphone 7 is fine, in my case Iphone 5S doesn't work, namely no enter key etc after you enter your ghin, sent an email to GHIN and my local state golf assoc. no response from GHIN, my state assoc forwarded it some different people at GHIN but they also did not receive a response. A year to roll this out combined with the fees that they collect from I guess would be 100,000 + USA golfers !!!!! and this is the best we get !!

I had the same problem with my iPhone 6. You have to delete the app from your phone, then reinstall it. That fixed it for me.
