Mizuno T20 Wedges Long Term Review

I can't decide whether to order some T20s or SM8s. I prefer the shape of the T20. My one concern is the offset. My understanding is that the t20 heads are bent up to 2* strong or 2* weak to achieve the lofts (5 total lofts per head type). I would be ordering 50, 54, 58.

I believe that the 54.12 is actually a 56.14 bent 2* strong, which could lead to a pretty fugly amount of offset. Am I overthinking this? For those of you who play these, do you notice a big difference in the offsets from being bent so much?

Feel is fine, and honestly I prefer having that tiny sweet spot as I know where I’m making contact with the ball in a lot of touch shots.

Flight and spin are fantastic for me, I feel I can do whatever I want with them and they just perform over and over again. Distance control is spot on. I doubt they will ever leave my bag unless I move somewhere with much different conditions.

I've used MP20 since the Spring and have enough course time - I went from SM7 Raw in 50F (satin), 55M and 60D to MP20 in 48, 53M (11) Grind, and 58 C (12) Grind - the grind is not very aggressive, but even with more bounce, I have no issues with tight lies or opening up. Feel is very good, the amount of boron is only 3% for greater wear-ability. I installed Pro Modus Wedge 115 (122g) and really like them. I am having my best year with short game since about 10 yrs ago. Part of that is confidence and better technique. Full shots and control are excellent, easy to lob the 58 out of rough, spin is very predictible - they don't stop like a vokey/prov1X combo but I have not used a ProV1 with these. Need to do that - have been using Srixon Z Star. But many times, too much spin with Vokey/ProV1 killed me on the greens on running chips - they stopped very quickly. I find the MP20s to get me closer to the flag with more predictible chip and runs. They will stop, though, on shorter chips. It is just a more predictible wedge.

I just grabbed some T20 wedges coming from SM5s and an SM7 56*... Reading through the comments is interesting... I have to say, these have to be the softest feeling wedges I have ever tried, and that is in no way a bad thing. I was kind of getting tired of the Vokey clunk and these really hit the mark. I have them in 7-8* bounces which I'm not sure if I really love yet coming from 10-12* wedges but having never hit them outdoors until this morning, they worked out really well in all kinds of circumstances. I am really pleased right away with these.
