Yeah its funny, I notice the heel sort of feeling free too when I walk but it doesn't effect me at all when I swing, even from odd stances. And it also hasn't mattered traversing hilly (even side hill) terrain.

True Linkswear Eco Knit - love their shoes for walking and could be worn off the course

G/Fore - more tradition shoe in line with FJ Icon, expensive but cheaper than icon look great. Never worn them outside of trying on though

For my money, and they are expensive,, and some styles quite peculiar looking, Ecco is the best for my feet in terms of comfort and stability,, my feet don’t hurt even after walking 36.. A lot of other shoes for me Adidas, foot joy require long break in periods where I have to put up with blisters and severe discomfort walking.. Ecco Biom Hybrid 3 and Biom G3 which are spiked but not quite as comfortable.. work best on my wide feet..

Just picked up the Addidas 360s recommended on this post.  They've been fantastic!  I mostly walk my courses.  Went to the PGA superstore and they had one pair in my size in clearance.  I then walked the department with the shoes on and tried on everything else they had.  The Addidas 360s were the winner for my feet.  Really important purchase as I have a mild hip issue.  (I also have slightly wider feet and go for spikeless).  Thanks for the advice all!

It depends if the last used by the brand and model matches your feet. If doesn't fit, you have to acquit. No FootJoy will ever fit my foot, so recommendations have little value.

Been using the Adidas CP Traxion with the Boa closure.  Overall a pretty comfortable shoe, but the Boa closure is awesome.  WIll never go back to laces again.
