I don't think it was offset as much as it was overall blade length. The video I posted from Paul Wood with Ping he just talks about club length and not offset

My idea of DG120 is quite simple. It has a profile and feel close to what you are used to play, AND a small drop of weight that might be wanted, so that would have been the first option to try against what you got. That test alone would tell if the weight drop was good or not, and probably erase other options due to that. In some cases the player CANT go down on shaft weight without big issues, and then all we can offer might be a softer version if speed has dropped due to age. That means if DGS300 seems to be the best for weight, next question is "do they still feel good"?, or maybe they should be soft stepped? When soft stepping we loose a little weight, about 1.75 grams for each step on DG so SS2 will bring them down against 126 grams as "comparable weight"....in case you did not think of that option. Taken to the extreme, if 126 grams is right (SS2), but the flex of SS1 is better, we start by going SS2, then we tip trim all shafts 3-4/8" to bring flex back against SS1, but still have the benefit of the weight loss at SS2...,(yes even on taper tip shafts). This is the kind of details we should look at and consider to make ALL parameters right.

The fact that he did not mention offset and it is obviously a variable is what prompted me to make my post. I suppose that one answer is that there are no or very few large clubheads with limited offset. It would be interesting to look at smaller cavity back heads with a lot of offset vs. those with little offset as far as shot dispersion goes. I guess that the result would probably be the same for each but it would be interesting to find out for sure.
