Please HELP Classified Posting Warning

Hi,

I’m trying to figure out a issue with a classified posting for a massage gun. I bought a new one today at my golf club and listed my old one on the site with a posting. I was told it was removed because it was not golf related. I was under the general understanding that fitness equipment related to golf was ok, as in general things sold in a golf shop. Massage guns are now being sold at golf shops more and more around the country and are a huge tool for people like me with bad backs to be able to golf. Buzzkill was the moderator, but hasn’t responded to my messages. Can someone else take a look at this? I’ve been on here a long time and had a number of great transactions and interactions through the forums, but the way this was handled made it seem like I was trying to rip someone off with Venmo or something. 

please let me know if there is someone else I should talk to.

Golf discount sells a different brand as well. The 3 club pro shops I’ve been in in the last few months all were selling a version of percussion massage. Helps people play more golf, I’ve used mine mid round on a break at the turn or wait on a tee even. 4 spine surgeries before 40 and you do whatever you need to to keep playing!

I really don’t understand why this has been so difficult, massagers are there now the brand is the issue.

So now I have to search which golf stores sell my specific brand?

Are we not allowed to sell LuluLemon golf clothes on the site now because that specific brand isn’t sold in big box stores??

Unfortunately I don’t recognize your specific massager as golf related for sale here. There’s other moderators/marshals who may have a different opinion on the matter and may respond though.

I don’t think you understand the product, it is a percussive massage. Percussive massage guns are being sold at golf shops and stores around the country, different brands at different spots. I’ve never heard of a product not being ok to sell because the brand is not golf related, if they have a product that can be used for golfers then it seems it’s golf related.

Im selling a TimTam which is ranked as one of the top percussive massagers at a lower price point. It is listed in men’s health with the same massagers listed above on the store links.

This really has been a frustrating experience from the very start with multiple messages ignored and having to continue to search and send links to you for a product I don’t think you understand.

I am with @bill p on this one. Why should the brand name matter? The TimTam is used for deep muscle treatment just like the Theragun or Hypervault being sold at the big box stores.

Branding does matter - we obviously don’t allow certain clothing and sunglasses for sale here.
