Mizuno Pro MS4 irons

So I was helping a friend move his parents and found a set (2-PW) of these irons in the box. He said take them. They are in real nice condition. It appears they came out in 1985. Was wondering if anyone had any knowledge about them?? There was a Golfwrx story on the history of Mizuno blades and that's about all I could find on the web.

I am going to hit them and compare to my g400s to see how technology has progressed over the past 35 years ??

For a great many years, MS-4's were considered to be the Mizuno set. Payne Stewart used a set of them in the 99 US Open.

Definitely one of the best Mizuno ever put out. Up there with the 9, 14, and 33.

Nice. US-only release, I think (maybe North America).

There's a picture in this link, but it's stamped Mizuno Pro MP4 (no, it's not the MP4 that came out in 2013). 『水野係員　勢揃い（改）』Unfortunately, no other details are included. I would guess that the MS4 stamping predates the MP4 stamping.
