14 Way Carry Bag with Putter Well

Ok, likely a ton of threads on this but I grow tired of Google searches and the search function here. Can the forum tell me what 14 way carry bag (dual strap sub 6 lbs.) Have a dedicated putter well? The 4.5 SM doesn't have one. Hoofer 14 could say it does with the two large sections on the top but hearing nothing but club tangle keeps me away from that dude. Vessel seems to do this with the Pro 14 way but hear knocks on the stand retraction. Titleist perhaps? Datrek? Bag Boy? I'd prefer to stay away from a brand that mfgrs clubs as I change irons like t shirts. HELP!!!

Similar to C130S, which I've owned, and is nice but not a carry bag. Leaning towards Titleist or trying to justify making the SM4.5 14 work.

We have a contender. Now to figure out of this hot rod has full length dividers and only if black or gray were in stock. AHHHHHHHHH!

I feel like your personal shopper (I'm hunting a new bag myself). Ogio 2020 Convoy SE Golf Stand Bag | TGW.comIn stock, and it says full length, but I don't know for certain.

I've kinda set Ogio aside because of stock on site. I want want want to make SM and Ping work but it's not perfect.

You are just a little late in looking for your ideal SM bag...…. like a few years late.

Sun Mountain MPB large diameter putter tube would easily fit any oversized putter grip, 14 full length dividers, large pocket capacity for a carry bag, and double straps.

Only downside was the weight might have been a little over your 6 lb. goal.

Sun Mtn. replaced the model with a hybrid bag that had a much smaller putter grip capacity.

I have looked for years to find a carry/stand bag with a putter well but have not found one. I did rig my Nike carry bag with a piece of PVC pipe down into a pocket I never used and zipped tied the top of pipe to the handle. I painted it black to blend in with the bag. Worked great. Most WRXer's would not be caught dead with this type of engineering though. I rarely carry anymore so decided to go to a cart bag with a putter well and went with a Callaway that had the storage I was looking for. I'll be interested to see if you find one with a true putter well.

Titleist Hybrid 14 appears to have a nice sized putter well...

I have a couple year old version of the Hybrid 14 and it is great. Full length dividers. Durable. Plenty of pockets. I assume the current version is similar.

I had the SM4.5 prior and it was lighter, but the fabric was pretty weak. Only lasted me a couple seasons. It looks like SM has new fabric on them so maybe they are more durable now.

Bought this last week at PGATSS, first two rounds with it on the weekend. 10/10 would recommend

 

it’s not crazy heavy, walked 9 and had it for 18 on my pushcart. Full length divider, oversize grip on my LAB2.1 fits no issue, and all the usual creature comforts of a good bag (cart pass thru, large cooler pocket and bottle holder, well thought out pockets for everything

I just switched back to Sun Mountain MPB because I wanted full length dividers and a dedicated putter well. It will be temporary until I a bag with similar features but that is lighter and has a handle on the back spine.
