any pics out there?

I am thinking about picking up a used set of the original Scratch CB irons, not the 2005 CB's....Does anyone have any pics of their set for me to see? Any opinions on them after playing them for awhile. Likes/dislikes? Thanks,

Aren't those the miura forged, that look like the Nike Proto's full cavities?

I had a set of the 05 cb's and thought they were awesome...very impressed with the iron, but a tad too much offset for my game unfortunately.

No offense to Ari,

I had a set of those cb's. They are from Japan but, Ishihara forgings. They feel great, very soft. The grind is very suspect. They are lots of sharp edges, very square looking. Now they are a custom club and you can get some customization but the basic forging he gets are what you see in the picture. I tried the black oxide finish and they looked good but the finish wore quickly. That design is kind of old school and is very thin and not at all forgiving. The newer 2005 model looked much better.

ps Forget reselling them, the resale value is $0.10 on the dollar.

Yes these are much more bladelike for a CB. They are small and have little to no offset more of an old school design. They are a bit more forgiving than a normal blade but if your looking for forgiviness take a look at our new AR-1 CBs. They still setup like a blade but are incredibly forgiving. If your looking for a CB that sets up and plays like a blade with a little help the original CBs will work well for you.
