Shaft for 48” driver experiment?

I gave up on mine. Hit it straight enough but wasn't seeing any more length on average. Occasional heel strike that gave me a spinny cut killed any gains in club speed. Hit the odd one that went further but I am prone to that with any driver I have ever played where I get an odd low spinner that just flies forever and goes a mile. 

 

Was a fun experiment to try and I never lost any distance or dispersion, just felt a little bit harder work to swing. 

 

I have now gone opposite experiment and went 1/2 inch shorter than standard with a counterbalanced shaft and more head weight to see how that works out. Just built it on Wednesday but haven't had a chance to hit it yet.
