Worst golf attire era?

Hard to argue against the hoodies and loungewear as worn today, but I'm going to throw in the 60s. People talk about this picture epitomising timeless style. To me it looks to two miserable old gits about to plant a few cabbages at an allotment in Bolton.

I'm right there with you man. Been on the golf course a long time. The mid 90's-2000s were the worst, the billowy sleeves with the collars buttoned up to the top and the multi-pleat khakis, wow. You think Seve looks cool because of how Seve played; if you saw Stadler with those enormous collars you'd think differently.

Today's "athle-leisure" wear is solely functional. I started wearing Adidas soccer pants because they fit well and help the athletic movement, not restrict it.

I don't understand the hate, why hate anything? Why get wrapped up in what others are wearing? You hardly even see anyone else other than your foursome right? Think of the backdrop, there are acres and acres of land out there and at most there's what 144 people on the course at one time (2 foursomes x 18 holes). You barely see anyone else.
