Has Ping ever put s/n's on their irons that are in like chronological order?  Like a61w341 thru a61w349 for example!!!

So I searched the numbers.  ...41 - ...49 are valid Ping numbers for G400 irons other than the ...46 and ...49 which are not.  The odd thing is that most of the individual numbers have multiple sets assigned to them and all are to different accounts and completely different set makeups and specs.  That in itself is weird, as at this point in time, Ping should be smart enough to not reuse serial numbers.

 

For a set to have each iron having a sequential serial number, it's not going to happen.  The set in question is a fake.  UNLESS, the numbers were a special order where for some reason they requested the sequential numbers as a "personalized name."  You likely would have a better chance at winning the Powerball than that being the case.

Hi Could you please check specs for Heppler Piper Ser # 0407094AM?

 

I bought it yesterday from an authorized Canadian retailer as new. It had the 32-36" adjustable shaft with a "Slight Arc" sticker.  When I did the balance on hand test at home, it points straight up indicating Straight not Slight Arc.

 

I was surprised to find online that Ping specs  this heel shafted Piper model stock as a 41.5" Armlock Putter, with non-adjustable shaft and 6 degrees of loft.

There is no data on that number.  Have you got the correct #?  If it is Piper that is Heel Shafted, then it can only be an Armlock unless it was a Custom Order.

 

FWIW, my Valor with a Slight Arc shaft is face balanced.

Sorry, my senior moment bad. I added a digit. The correct number is 047094AM.  Thanks too for the info on your Valor. 

Yes, it is  heel-shafted so my major concern is that is was just reshafted and that the loft wasn't changed. It is a red dot though, so maybe it was a full custom with  loft change too and the customer changed his mind.

I would bet this is a Custom Order that someone didn't like.  Loft likely is dictated by the shaft so I can't say what the loft might be. Ping puts in a straight shaft and bends them to order (straight, slight, etc...) and likely loft at the same time.  You might have to ask the shop or call Ping.
