Scotty Cameron Pistolini grip

Im really not an expert on putter grips. But I demoed the new Scotty Select range and fell in love with the grip. Its called Pistolini I think. Is this grip an specially made Scotty grip or just a "ripoff" of some traditional one like Ping or Golf Pride? Thanks!

Scotty only. You won’t find this exact grip (shape, weight,etc) anywhere else. Lots of similar ones out there of course.

It's called pistolini plus. They are on ebay if you like just the grip. Golfpride pro series is closest to it without the scotty branding

ok, thanks for pointing that out. With Gold pride pro series, you mean the "pro only" category?

As mentioned above, Golf Pride Pro Only Red Star is going to be the closest. It’s not exact though.

Correct pro only, but like MP said it's not exact. I believe the pistolini plus is about 80grams not sure on pro only

I agree with having a weird attraction to this grip too, as I am usually a matador mid player. This is the only pistolini style that I could even consider playing, and it’s quite a bit smaller than my usual gamer grip. I like the pure feedback I get from putters that I put it on compared to matador. When it’s could I sometimes find the pistolini plus to feel kinda smaller than when it’s warmer and my grip pressure if softer. That’s where the matador’s comfort level shines through. Currently playing pistolini plus on a timeless and have a matador as backup, just in love with feel.

Yes, normally Ive used thicker grips for a number of years, but something just felt great when I gripped this one.

Seems like the pro only comes in both red, green and blue. Wonder which one is the closest to pistolini plus? Thank you!

GP Pro Only red star grip weighs 75 grams. I prefer the red star to the pistolini plus grip. The red star is a little wider but not as deep front to back. 
 

Added some pictures of different options. As Red Star is the closest to the Pistolini in texture and shape.
 

Ping P58 is a different texture but very similar shape, a little wider, similar depth front to back and same weight as the pistolini at 80 grams. 
 

Lamkin deep etch is another mid size option but a very different shape and feel.

I've liked the Pistolini not only for its shape, but because of its extra length. Works great for a claw grip.

There's nothing exactly like the Pistolini (or Pistolero for that matter) out there. OP if you really liked that shape, just get the Scotty grip. If it's a cost thing, it'll be cheaper to buy the Pistolini right away than it will be to experiment around with all the comparables if you just end up buying the Scotty grip afterwards.

Thanks a lot for your effort there! I have 3 putters that Im gonna regrip so I think Im gonna order both the pro only and the scotty. They do look similar but still a little different. Thanks for helping me out with this.

no, it wasnt just about price, it was also about availability over here in Scandinavia. Gold Pride are a much bigger brand here and uptil just a few years ago that was pretty much the grip you could find in stores, so if there was a GP model it will be easy to find and they are much cheaper here than SC. If I have to order from the US and have to pay shipment and all that it can become really expensive.
