I've been seeing these pop in stores for $20/dozen. Thinking about picking up a box of each to check out. Anybody played these recently and have any opinions on them?

I have never tried them. But I do remember posts about the cover not being durable at all. One of the balls also spun an incredible amount, but can't remember which model.

Thats what I have read too. Durability issues. At that cost though, for a urethane ball, it seems like its worth a box or two as a test.

The Kirkland Signature V2 or more affectionately known around these parts as the KSig 3.2 are THE BEST VALUED AND QUALITY BALL for the price in the Universe.  $24.99 for TWO dozen 3 pc. urethane balls that are as good as any urethane ball out there.....Just Sayin

Yep. I've played them. I just don't care for the feel of them. For some reason I haven't gotten along with that ball.

What about the feel don't you like?  Reason I'm asking is that I've played almost every ball out there and if you can say what about the feel you don't like I could either direct you to or away from other balls.  I've played every Taylor Made, Titleist, Snell, Vice, etc.

I just didn't like them. That's all I recall. I feel like they were way spinny off the driver.

No offense but carrying on about the Ksig balls is not what I'm here for. I'm asking about the Cut balls only. I've never played those so I'm looking for feedback on that ball specifically.

None taken.  You have to play the ball that's right for you.  Can't help you on the Cut.  I've never played them.

I bought a dozen of each, to try out, at the end of last year. I was basically thinking that if I could find a $20/dozen ball that performed well, and I actually liked, then I would be set, and not have to look all over the place for discounts on other premium balls. To my surprise, I ended up liking the Gray better than the Blue. It seemed to be a bit longer for me, and just felt better on solid hits and around the green. So, I still have about 6 or 7 Blues in my bag, that I'll use, every once in a while. But, I just liked the Gray better. Also, I didn't seem to have the durability issue with the Gray, but did have just one or two of the Blues that I remember being a little surprised at the damage I did to the ball with my clubs, not cart paths or trees, or anything. Just my thoughts, as everyone has their own, and different things work for different people and swings.

Blue is super spinny and had durability issues but not sure about the current Blue. The Grey I liked better, didn't spin as much and seemed like a better ball for me but I went with other options in the end.

Sounds like the Ksig 3.1. I hated that ball because way to spinny off the driver...in fact way too spinny off everything. However, 3.2 that Wantacigar suggested is a much better ball.

I use the blue as my gamer ball, and I really like it. That being said, durability is an issue, not for me because I usually lose them before it's too bad. I can't give you any insight on the Gray, sorry.

Played the first generation of the Blue, spun a ton and not too durable. To Cut’s credit, I believe they acted player feedback and the second version was much better. Cut Grey worked better for me. Still have several dozen that I will play in the fall when yellow balls hide in the leaves. Fwiw - my swing speed off driver is low - 85ish and my preferred flight is an ever so slight fade. I do like the Grey when I put it in play.

I've played both, and both have significant durability issues. If you take full shots with your wedges, you can expect to see significant damage to the cover after a single shot oftentimes.

Simply put, these balls are not a good value. I was having to switch to a new ball after a single hole.

However, if you are the type of person who loses a ball every hole or every other hole these might make sense. But even then, Kirklands would be a better value.

So in summary the only people who should actually use Cut Blue/Grey are people who lose tons of balls and also dont like the feel of Kirlands.
