Saintnine U-Pro?

Has anyone played this?  I've seen this ball on RockBottomGolf before but happened to see Amazon was selling for $21.99.  It's a 2 piece urethane ball and the only one currently on the market (in the US anyway).  I used to play the Bridgestone e5 and liked that ball a lot and was wondering if this ball performed similar.

Have played the U Pro yellow exclusively this season. I’m a lower swing speed player, 210 yard drive is a bomb for me. I found them for $25 for 2 dozen with a bogo that’s offered regularly on their web site.
They have a mental mate logo which might be a little off putting for some, but no one on my regular courses plays them, so ID ing your ball is easy.
Plays like a distance ball off the tee, long enough for me and pretty straight on a good strike. 85 or 90 compression, so not really soft.

Irons - again pretty good low spin distance.

Wedges - not Tour spin, but they seem to fly high and bite enough due to the urethane cover.

Putting - my putter insert is on the softer side so no feel issues or clicking on putts. Put a good roll on it, it goes where you aim it.

I know a few have mentioned durability issues. For me, I can play these for 18 holes and they hold up pretty well.

Overall performance for me is right where I need it for the cost, about $1 a ball on sale. For a yellow urethane that I can see pretty well, I’ll take it.

Purchased a dozen and put in play today.  Overall it played pretty similar to the Bridgestone e5 from what I can remember.  Definitely a higher, less penetrating ball flight compared to 3-4 piece premium urethane balls.  It doesn't spin like the tour balls but there is notably more spin than a ionomer 2/3 piece.  Case in point I blocked a tee shot on a par 3 missing right of a greenside bunker.  I hit a flop shot with my 58 degree wedge that initially I thought I landed too far on the green but it only released a couple feet.  With a 2 piece ionomer it releases more like 8-10 feet.  Instead I had a 5 foot uphill putt and saved par.

The only downside is the cover is not as durable as other premium urethane balls.  It scuffs fairly easily after a couple well struck wedges.  The mental mates logo didn't bother me.  For years I would buy logo overrun balls and as mentioned it does make it easy to identify your ball.  I wouldn't say I'm ready to purchase more and make it my gamer just yet but I will continue to test.

I bought a couple dozen because I like throwing a pink ball into the mix sometimes, and there’s not many options on a tour ball. I think Volvik had one a couple years ago, but none of the big boys.

The UPro is fine, but it definitely doesn’t spin like a tour ball off wedges and half wedges. My course has quite a few elevated greens where you need to spin something green side (or, maybe, I need to short side myself less…), but the UPro doesn’t spin and sit like my usual TP5 and XV. Distance wise it’s shorter than both, but 5 yards either way on a drive isn’t the end of the world. The short game manners is, for me.

For the price, it’s fine. Not really a fan of the mental mates either, they look like blobs of bright paint, not easy to tell what they are actually supposed to be.

I've been playing the U-Pro the last couple rounds and just shot my season low of 82 today.  While the short game spin/control will never be mistaken for a ProV1 or other premium ball it is noticeably better than 2 piece ionomer balls.  I think I am going to pick up another dozen or two and ride the rest of the season out with these.

I came to this thread because I got an email from Maple Hill about a sale on Saintnine u-pro.  $10 a dozen, $40 for 6 dozen, or $130 for 20 dozen!

It's got to be a crap ball, right?  I wonder how it performs next to a Kirkland?  Does anyone play it and if so can we get a comparison to something else?

Thanks

I haven't hit the u-pro, but did win a dozen of Saintnine's premium balls on here a few years ago. They were the worst balls I've ever used. Not worth $130 for 20 dozen, heck I wouldn't take 20 dozen for free.
