Hello needed: TS vs Tsi 5/7 woods?

Hey fellow golfers,

Curious what is everyone's thoughts on the TS vs Tsi fairway woods? Looking for a good 5w or 7w lofted to about 19.5 - 20.5* to gap between my 4 iron and 3w. I know a lot of guys prefer the TS2/3 but those seem to sit a little awkward or closed to me?? Any thoughts or feedback TS vs Tsi woods?

Loved my TS2 5 wood & TS2 7 wood. Still chasing something as good (note: have not tried the TSi series)

The tsi2 5 wood is 18, it’s great, feels a bit more lively than the TS2, at least for me

i played both over the course of the year and really liked both but found them quite different. main takeaway was that the ts2 was best for sweeping and the tsi2 was best for hitting down on it. tsi2 was better out of the rough, but the ts2 was better across the whole face

the ts2 sits closed and the tsi2 sits open. if you plan to loft up and close the face go with the tsi

Played the TS-2 last two years.  Switched to the TSi3 this year.  For me the TSi is more consistent.  The TS-2 was a bit longer on certain swings, but I never knew what swings that would be.  The current TSi is 225 +/- 5 on every swing.  Go with the TSi, and go flag hunting!

I tested the TS before buying my TSi2….it just wasn’t as consistent.  The occasional shot that was longer, but the TSi2 just never gave me a “bad” one.  Perhaps this is what we would call “forgiveness.”

 

gaming TSi2 for a couple weeks and it’s been absolutely fantastic

 

Ive basically become a total TSi line homer after having a phenomenal experience with a new driver, fairway wood and hybrid now in the bag
