Falling Back… Enough already!

So recently most of us had to “Fall back” and move the clocks back an hour. I was at the gym yesterday and walked outside at about 3:30 to get some fresh air. When I looked West toward the hills, the sun was almost already at the horizon! Today the sun will officially set here at 4:59. Can’t stand it. It’s time we just keep daylight saving time year round and be done with this nonsense! Ok, rant over 😊

And forget about getting in 9 after work now. I will be lucky to get in some range time instead. Arizona knows what's up by not honoring it. I'm with ya. It's depressing.

I like the extra foot on the end of my blanket 😊 😂  
I mean I’ll take the extra daylight at the end of the day as opposed to the beginning. Time to stop cutting up blankets and just leave daylight saving time all the time! 😜

I hate this time change.  Cuts the day short.  Why ?  I also prefer to drive my kid to school in the dark.  Not kidding.  It’s easier.  You can see headlights better than cars in a morning glare.

I suppose it isn't all the time change's fault, but I hate how few golfable hours there are in the winter.

 

I know, at least I can generally play year round, but when you take frost delays in the morning and less daylight in the evenings, there's only a few hours to send groups out who have any chance of finishing before dark.

 

Luckily, most of the people who live around here aren't tremendously hardy when it comes to the cold, so that thins the crowds quite a bit. 

 

I mean, it was overcast, low-50's/high-40's, and breezy on Sunday - officially a touch chilly, I'll admit. But, people in my group were wearing parkas and knit caps, complaining about the cold all day long. I wore a short sleeved windshirt.
