Miyazaki Tour Issue 6s

Does anyone have any experience with this driver shaft?

Looking at a Mizuno ST200G at Dallas Golf and dont see this shaft as an option on Mizuno sites.

I've hit the Diamana 60S Blue and it worked well.

I'm hoping the Miyazaki is similar.

My gut tells me Dallas Golf bought a bunch of the year end clear out stock heads and assembled them with the Miyazakis since they had them in stock.

 

Any info would help.

What model is it? There's black, blue, silver and indigo just for starters. Great shafts different profiles.

Never seen one not fitted to a Cleveland. Supposed to be good but tour use is negligible. Try before you buy.

I am curious as well.

I am looking for a backup shaft for my PXG Gen 2 0811X. I currently have the Fujikura Pro 2.0 6s.

I see it is $69 on ebay, which sounds like a great deal.

I purchased one from Dallas Golf a couple of months ago, for my XR16 driver. I'm still testing it out, but I'm liking it so far. My swing is fairly smooth, and it seems to work really well with it.

You can stop on each chart to see the profile for the shaft you are looking at.

The 4 digit profile code describes the stiffness in each of the 4 sections of the shaft starting with the butt.

The higher the number the stiffer the section.

Ok so this is a "blue" type profile and you're looking at mid launch mid spin etc. I believe it was one of the stock options in the Z 585 and was in the 565 as well, might have been the 5. Rick Shields loved the 6 in x flex. I've had a handful of Miyazaki shafts and they are solid.

I have this same shaft that came stock with a Srixon Z545 driver I played for awhile (45.25' playing length). Torque is 3.4 deg.

 

Its a quality shaft with a very even profile feel for me. A '5' in the profile code is Miyazaki designation of stiff flex (a '6' is a little stiffer with a '7' being Xstiff, a '4' is a touch softer with a '3' as regular flex), so a 5554 is bog standard stiff along the shaft with a touch more tip flex.

 

My driver SS is low 100's up to 105mph when I go after it some and I have a quick tempo and fast transition. I find this shaft a little soft for me and the profile almost a touch boring to play, but I can play it ok. Very much mid launch, mid spin as noted in the above post.

 

I prefer other shafts but suggest that this will be a decent allrounder for many golfers who don't need am overally stiff stiff shaft. You can see why it was a stock shaft over some years for Srixon drivers, will be ok for many golfers.

Ordered a Mizuno ST200G at Dallas Golf with this shaft and hope it works out.

Thanks for confirming it's similar to the "blue" profile.

 

It appears Dallas Golf bought a bunch of the 2020 year end clear out heads from Mizuno and assembled them with shafts they stock and sell.

They had/have several "non-stock" shaft combo's for sale. 

 

I feel like I got a good deal but it's never a deal if it doesn't work...

We'll see soon!
