With this model it came pretty square from the factory

Reviving this for a previous comment you made about torching and cutting to get it to the under 5 inches mark. How easy was that? I just got one back and might look at increasing toe hang by trimming the neck length but I'm not an expert and don't want to completely ruin a putter over something minor such as a few degrees of toe hang.

Also how did you nail the loft and lie? The one I have is about 2 degrees more upright than desired and was wondering if you had any recommendations on loft or lie adjustment that didn't involve bending the shaft part of the neck.

Are you doing this to a catilina classic too? I didn't measure loft and lie from from what I see and compare to my other putters it didn't change. And I didn't epoxy before I cut so I didn't need to torch. I just measured and cut.

Not a catalina classic no, I don't have that good of taste. I reached out to the guy who did the mod and he said he would make changes if I send it back, so my mind is at ease.

call me stupid, but what’s the benefit of using a knuckle neck? I love the way they look but never knew the actual benefit over just a standard plumbers neck.

Mainly weight savings.   A plumbers neck will weigh between 20-50 grams, knuckle necks (the one I had at least) weighed about 8 grams.  Long neck plumbers necks can weigh even more.

My intention with this was a cheap and non permanent plumbers neck option from original single bend shaft. With this specific 350g head the sound and feel improved alot
