I have been using them for a couple weeks and absolutely love them. High 130s to low 140s with driver and think they are miles better then anything I've used before(previously used X7 and PX 7.0). Have a much better ability to flight the ball and have lost my issue of overdrawing shots into the wind. Had to add some weight to the head to get them to feel just right but man have they been great.

Exactly what I'm looking for. I'm 100-105 with 7 to 8i in 130g shaft and can't stop overdrawing, especially when I get into my long irons when the speed is higher. If I step on it I can be in the 130s with my driver but I prefer 80g driver shaft tipped 1" and cruise 125. In the process of working with @NerdyGolfer to figure out best iron shaft ! He's super helpful.

Irons: Titleist U510 4i 22* w/ Fujikura Ventus Black 10x; P7TW 5-P (looking for the right shaft)

Wedges: Miura QPC Tour Milled (No Bounce) 52* @ 50*, 56* @ 54*, 58*

Putter: Yamada Handmade Limited Edition Samurai Burnt Copper 34"

Would love to ask the group if anyone with faster swing speeds (4/5 flex) switched to these for elbow pain relief and noticed a difference?  Read a comment earlier from someone who mentioned the pain was not any better but when switching to other graphite shafts it disappeared.

My reason for purchase would be elbow pain and to reduce the left curve (which I’m fairly confident they will do given all the feedback on tightening the left miss I’ve read)

TM Stealth plus 3 wood 15 degrees, Ventus Blue TR 6x

Srixon RTX 6 - 52,56,60

I believe they've helped my reconstructed elbow. I've played 45 holes in a day without discomfort, but everyone's swing is different.

Wanted to chime in here. Never had the chance to hit a LA L Series iron shaft until yesterday. A buddy of mine let me hit his irons a few times during our round, Cobra King Tours he had shafted. I must say, I have become a believer in these shafts with just a few strikes where I know my next set of irons will be outfitted with them. After reading this thread I believed I would definitely be a 4 flex. Definitely not the case, his 5 flex seemed perfect for me where it was extremely stable without feeling stout at all, also creating such a mid-high launch trajectory perfect to my liking on the course. For anyone's curiosity, my typical numbers are below. Hope it helps anyone else who does not have the ability to hit these.

Last question. Why no 3 iron shaft? Anyone soft stepping a 4 iron shaft into their 3?

They have a 3 iron shaft now.  Which is great, because I soft step mine so I can put the 3 iron shaft in my 4 iron.

Just installed a set into my ZX7 5-PW, I am seriously in love. I have picked up half a club in distance as the flight is so much more penetrating. I never got fitted to them, i just loved the look and gave them a whirl. I went the L series in the 4 flex. I'm very pleased and can't wait to really dial them in.

I have the L-series in my 52 and the L-Series WV in 56 and 60.

L-Series feels very stable but not super stiff like a C-taper. Really cant explain how it feels or what it would compare to other than saying I like it so much that im going to put it in my Mizuno's

I reached out to a rep and was told the Bryson series shafts in Stiff are still stiffer than the L-Series X. It's not that the L-series play soft, its that the Bryson series are so darn stiff

i use x100s in my irons and s400 in my wedges, do you recommend the wv shafts for the 56 and 60, also should i get s or x in my irons, i know la golf is pretty stiff. I swing around 115 mph with my driver

I’m 112-113 w/ driver but it’s a fast tempo, aggressive swing. I had a set with stiff and X. The stiff gave me extra ball speed but a left miss could creep in there every now and then. The X felt great and were the most consistent shafts I played. (I’m a degenerate club tinkerer so I’m always switching irons)

My first round with the L-Series X in Mizuno Pro 223s I shot a 73 first time out and no range time. Very minimal lateral curve to them

What I’ve found is the build has to be perfect with them bc they swing weight very low. Lots of weight in the butt. When I tried them in another set of irons I had them built to D4-5 but found the excess weight added to the tip made them have a load and kick feel similar to PX LZ

A good swing weight is probably D2 bc they’ll be stiff enough

if you’re familiar and comfortable with the x100/s400 combo then you’ll be fine with the WV wedge shafts in sand and lob. They’ll feel looser on full swings but have enough feel for touch shots around the green

Hey everyone. So I’m torn between the L series stiff and xtra stiff. I currently play kbs tour v 120 xstiff in Srixon zx7 mkII. I went to club champ and hit the L series in stiff and really really liked the feel and ball flight was a little higher, had a slight pull (that could have been the swing in me that day), but swing speed was up, ball speed, smash factor was up distance may have been a couple to no more than 5 yards longer. Swing speed was 91-93 consistently with a 6 iron. Unfortunately, they didn’t have a xstiff for me to demo but the fitter let me hit his x stiff in his miuras. Granted the miura heads are much different than the Srixon heads so I wasn’t able to get a good feel/comparison to the stiff.

End result, fitter suggested i go xstiff based on swing speed and pulls. He thinks x will straighten ball flight out, tighten up dispersion and flight. I just don’t want anything too stout or boardy (think c tapers or project x rifle 6.5)

my question is, has anyone been caught in this dilemma? Choosing between stiff and xstiff? Any thoughts?

thanks, playas!

Golfguru14 - did you end up getting the S or the X?  I have similar SS to you and currently game the Modus 130s.  I'm leaning to the S, but curious if you had any feedback.
