Titleist 905R

where can i buy a new one(hopefully cheap)? preferably a 10.5.

I didn't score a new one, but I got a good one. Wish I would have discovered this driver back in 06'. I would have saved a ton of $$$. Got mine today after an ebay purchase. 905R 10.5 YS-6+ S I have never hit such BIG drives. They weren't all in the middle, but I was getting a ton of roll too. If you check on ebay you will find them in the $95 to $165 range with all different specs. There seemed to be a lot of 9.5* in stiff flex.

I am looking forward to tomorrow.

Been custom fit for the new 909, had it for around a month and found it to be nothing like the tool the 905R is. The R's back in the bag and staying.

I'm looking for a Titleist 905R but dont know what shaft to get what are the differences between the Proforce 75 and the Proforce 65(the purple and yellow model shaft) http://www.golf-components.com/profor65wood.html

I've hit the 907 D2 with the heavier shaft and it goes really well for me, but talking to a pro at the proam event he said that the 905R head is much better then there newer offerings.

If anyone could help me out, I would be greatly appreciated if anyone could help.

On paper the purple 65 shaft is only 5grams lighter then the 75 shaft, is there any pros and cons of having a lighter or heavier shaft?

I was stuck on another name brand for a long time, but the 905R actually makes me look like I know what I am doing when I drive. My mishits are even good. I am glad I read all the reviews before I made a decision to get this great tool. I even got players in the group asking to hit with it.

I used to have a 905 R but It got stolen a couple of years ago. Was disspointed with my Burner so I sold that and can't decide between another 905 R and a G 10. Anybody compared the two. I've got some good memories of that 905.

I'm not sure why so many people are always saying Titleist clubs are for better players and are hard to hit. I'm a decent player ( 12 hcap) and the weakest part of my game is driving the ball. However, my accuracy with Titleist drivers is no worse than with the most forgiving clubs out there. I have used the 983K and loved it- without question that club was the most solid feeling driver I've ever had...I tried the 905 S and didn't care for it, bought the 905R and I think it's awesome and easy to hit...i've only used it sporadically this winter, so i'm not sure about distance yet, but all in all i think it's a great stick~

I have a Tour Issued 905R with an Aldila NV 65 gram Xtra Stiff shaft. It feels so hot on impact but I often ask myself is it as hot as all the new drivers. Just wondering if anyone has done some studies or comparisons with any of the newer drivers. Preferably Titleist! Thanks

i have owned 983k, 905t, 905r, 907d2, 909d3, and 910d3. the only drivers that i still own/bag/game are the 983k 9.5 with a fujikura vista tour shaft in stiff flex, and my 905r 9.5 with whiteboard. none of the other titty drivers compare in my opinion, to these 2 older models. maybe it is the bore-through shaft, but the feel and distance cant compare to the 983k and 905r.

R back in the bag. 10.5 deg with Epic R 68g shaft 45 in long. my ss is around 92 and this driver is the best i've hit .... long and straight.

Just bought one of these off of a WRXer and hit it 20 yards further than the Nike 5000, and the Adams 9015D with a RIP in it. The 905R has the Stiff NV in it. Hits 10 yards further with more roll.

Bought a 905R from a member here, did not try it until last week, after 9 so,so holes,,,, well, playing from the blues, my drives were 5-10 yards longer that were my drives were from the WHITE tees,,,,,,,,, can this be possible?
