What is your preferred Sight-Line on you putter and why? What is preferred length? What are you gaming?

I’m a righty that is left eye dominant. I don’t even pay attention or notice the site lines. I only look at the face so I am impartial. I could go white/black dot/line or nothing and I wouldn’t even notice.

I prefer either no sight-line or no sight-line at all on the top rail. I find that sight-lines that run all the way to the ball completely throw off my aim. When putting, I aim the vertical line. I realise that I may be in the minority  there. Gaming the Taylormade black DJ Spider Tour a few years back made me realise that this really enhanced my aim. 
I play putters at 35 inches. I’m currently gaming a 35 inch PING 2023 DS72 putter. I initially thought that it would feel like a sledgehammer at a headweight of 365g and 35 inches but it doesn’t. It’s super stable on short and medium putts and I’m also pretty dialled in on lag putts.

Not sure if this is what you're going for...my Callaway Tuttle from sometime in the 90's. I keep trying to put something new in the bag and it keeps finding its way back. Pulled it out of the used bin years ago and spent more putting a new grip on it than I did on the putter.

Through trial of about 62.3 putters over the last 4 years I've found I prefer a medium length top line. I dislike short top lines like what you see on traditional anser styles. I used to like flange lines but found they cause aim issues. Don't like super long top lines like the pxg operator, 11ch tour lined, etc. I also really like fang style putters but dislike the "lines" created by the wings. Really dislike multiple site lines and dots. 

 

Best for me seems to be a 2" line on top of a mallet. Since I like fang style putters and I like a mid mallet top line style...enter the gt max as my gamer.

I have options, but the top line really suits my eye.

I prefer a site dot, but it's very unpopular for retail offerings. I have a custom black lab BL-2 that has a site dot, oil can finish. It is beautiful, but not my gamer.

 

I roll an odyssey #7 crank hosel with a superstroke grip. It's an ugly duckling, but it puts the ball in the hole.

 

Length is 35.5" because I'm tall. Considering going up to 36" or even 36.5" for more comfort and better posture.

I don't like any site lines on the putter and I don't like any lines on the ball.
