i really appreciate that LIV hasnt requested these courses make the setups easy.  alot of tours may do that to make the golf appear better but im glad liv didnt take the easy way out.  seems like every course they have played has super fast greens and healthy rough.  course looks good.

I'm enjoying this so far. It's a cool concept that you can see so many different golf shots and putts,  and they are not just fixating on the featured group.

 

Also Piot is +3. Wonder if he's finally feeling the pressure that this gig might be up soon for him. I know it's early still.

They are focusing a bit more on the Cam/DJ group, which is nice.  Overall pace of the broadcast is a bit toned down compared to the first couple events, but still lots of shots from the course being shown.  Has a nice flow, imo.

I assume the players want very fast greens so that’s a given. They probably prefer mild rough too. I’m interested to see how lies in the rough compare to what we’re used to seeing.

Watched the first week for 10 minutes. Just turned this tournament on. For the first couple minutes, I was weirded out by the scoreboard. Now getting used to it. Honestly, the coverage has gotten a lot better. There are better players now. Non-stop golf is nice. The PGA tour should be scared. 

 

Also, watsup with Phil? Is he becoming an evil villain or something? Why so serious?

Agreed, the coverage is a lot better.  More full shot setups, caddie/player mic'd up on approach shots and long putts etc.  And it just seems like the quality of play is better.

Something that just got mentioned, is the final event of the year is a 4-day event.  With the team format taking center stage.  The three teams at the top of the season leaderboard get a bye thru the first round.  Be curious to hear more about the format for this final event.

I agree the coverage is great but the scorboard taking up 20% of the screen needs to go

I think the team aspect would be more interesting if the guys all played in the same group. 
 

I realize they’re playing threesomes and the teams would make foursomes. But we’re expected to accept that these guys have some kind of team chemistry. Let us see it during the first two rounds then reshuffle by score for the final round.

I only saw BDC's lie earlier.  It looked doable but seemed to be in an area where it was laying one direction a bit?

 

Rough looks substantial to me.  Not US Open depth but a solid 4". Thick nearer the fairways and irrigation, browned out as you get out away from it.

event 8 is a  team event only for like 50 mil over 4 days.  Individual play concludes in event 7, 

 

4 days of elimination  match play should be entertaining.

Watching the linked content above, since I wanted to see what I’ve been critical of in the past. The course looks nice, I like the natural areas and sand. Not much of a fan of the scoreboard. It works for me for F1 but not for golf. 
 

Amusing moment - Phil on a par 3 pushes one left,  I mean WAY left. Hits a tree halfway go hole. We all have bad shots, even pros. I get that. But then Feherty chimes in, “There’s one you don’t see too often”. Miss him on the PGAT broadcasts.
