New Titleist T-100 for 2023

Refresh should be coming for both models next year as well.
 

I think moving those to a 4 year cycle instead of 2 was a good call. I think they should move the T100 to the same release schedule, make the CB, MB, and T100 the “tour” irons, and move the release to spring. Or could make it a 3 year cycle. That would give them separate iron releases to create more buzz and press releases even if the CB and MB skus don’t have as much sell through. Then use the T100•S, T200, T300, and T400 as the retail proving grounds for tech and style, sort of how Mizuno uses there JPX lineup.

T100 in matte black and a pre-worn leading edge like the original T100 would be the perfect clubs.

It’s going to be hard to improve on T100, but my wishlist is:

• shorten heal to toe in the long irons

• pre worn leading edge

• slightly thinner topline 

 

if they can do these without giving up any forgiveness, they have made the perfect iron

I played a friends 2019 t100s on a golf trip and loved it so much I ordered 2021 a set to that spec before we left.  2021 feels like a completely different club. Never could get along with them and I suspect it has to do with the sole (I hit the 620 mb better than the   2021 t100)

Crazy how everyone is different...I hated 2019, figured I was done with Titleist for a bit, tried the 2021 and loved them! 🤷‍♂️

I know some didn't like the cavity cover on the T200, but I think the long irons are really good on those.

Hoping they bring a hollow body head similar to new cobra and pro 225s.

The back plate on the T200 is weak Tap it and it goes Tink tink tink . They need to just make a T200 tech iron in a TMB ish shape .

T200 are nice forgiving clubs but the back plate make them look and feel cheap.  I wish they would just spend a ton of money in R&D.  Forget these 2 year launches.  They’re not necessary, consumer will still buy their balls.  Come out with beautiful timeless irons that look and feel amazing and for the love of God, release in spring.  Enough of this late fall release dates.  Forget it.

That is incorrect, although it’s marginal see below. The T100S def has more help….”The new T100•S mirrors the T100 aesthetic, as well as the forgiveness benefits of tungsten, but is fully reconceived with both stronger lofts (two degrees throughout) and most compellingly, an added channel in the back on the 3- through 7-iron that aims to improve both the ball speed and launch.”

I won’t ever bash someone for a take or an opinion but will ask questions. I don’t think anyone knows what you’re looking for. You want something in between but you were shown the S is more forgiving than the 100. Provides exactly same lofts as the t200. Which is ideal for blending. The t200 is hollow and gives even more forgiveness for those not good enough to hit the 100. I game a t200 3 iron i use as a driving iron. The one thing I’d say is i wish the feel and acoustics were better but I’m not gonna complain when I’m using one of the irons in totality. It appears you’re asking for a 2nd iron that goes between the t100s and t200 which would fit maybe .05% of the golf population? I hate to break it to you that just isn’t gonna happen cause the demand isn’t there like at all.

My memory is hazy, but didn’t Titleist market the T-100S for precisely being able to blend in with the T-200. I think they recognized (in the first iteration) that players were not pleased that they had to bend the T-200 soft and the T-100 strong to match up so they created the T-100S so you would not have to bend the lofts of either iron.

Yes exactly. They even added that speed channel to help with launch precisely so you didn’t have to bend them.

Not at all - I actually am Very keen to get the new t100 - just hoping for better blending options that spin - 100s didn't spin for me at all / 200 did, but back badge was a disappointment ...
