2023 Bridgestone

Is Bridgestone due for a refresh this year I've lost track of all the different companies cycles?

Not this year for their Tour B line.

I just signed up on the Bridgestone website for a chance to “test the next innovation” of Bridgestone golf balls. You have to submit your name, email and physical address. You also select the model of ball in which you are interested. There is no mention of how soon. 
 

Note: I found the sign-up page by doing an Internet search for “new Bridgestone golf balls.”  To this point I have been unable to recreate the page by searching Bridgestone’s website.

I got the signup in an email. All they asked for was my email and my zip code.

I've been playing the Tour B XS for 4 years now and the one and only change I'd make is a higher flight with the irons. It's the one thing keeping it from being the absolute perfect ball. Anyone know of a ball that compares almost exactly but with a higher flight? Maybe Chrome Soft X? I imagine that it would be firmer but the characteristics would be the same in regards to spin.

The closest thing I have found to B XS that also has a higher flight is the Vice Pro. It doesn’t spin quite as much inside 80yds like the B XS and it just a touch firmer. I like the CS X, and it does fly higher but much firmer feeling.

Can you speak to how the BXS is to putt with? I enjoy hitting the BRSX but getting used to the soft feel on the green can be an issue. Possibly compared to a Pro V1?

I've never putted with the BXS RX but I imagineit's softer than the XS. The XS is right there with chrome soft as the softest tour balls to putt with. Definitely a more muted sound off the putter. Softer than the Pro V1 for sure.

It’s interesting how we all perceive feel or sound. To me I get the same feel from a Chrome Soft and Pro V1 off the putter.  To me it’s perfect. I have never purchased a Chrome Soft. Thanks for your input.

Chrome Soft X is very close.  All around great ball.  LIKE hammergolf said,  a little firmer, but not firm like Pro V1X or Star XV.  Def do a head to head if you get the chance.

I'm going to give the Chrome Soft X a fair shot this year. My driver is very low spin but I really enjoy using the spinniest ball for irons and wedges that I can get my hands on becuase I can take some spin off if I need to. Thanks guys.
