Nike Footwear 2023 (Unofficial Thread) (***NO BUY SELL TRADE POSTS***)

Maybe I missed it in the other posts, but for those of you that ordered TW13, did they come without a shoe box? I don’t really care, would have tossed it anyway, but mine came loose with a shoe bag and warranty card in a much larger box. These were direct from Nike, seemed odd to me.

I have both colors. Both definitely came in a normal nike shoe box with bag and everything inside

I bought a pair of VT2s on sale to try them out (went up one size to 12) thinking I would only use them for indoor or cart days, still worried about the plastic heel plate issues coming to haunt me ( felt it a bit the last time I tried them on.) No heel issues when I tried them on, and I actually wore them a couple rounds walking and no rubbing. Maybe going up a size helped?
 

I think with the new heel design, the VT3s will be even better!

having owned 2 pairs last year and either sold or returned them due to the heel problem (i presume the problem is the ripping of the material on the heel) i recently bought some in the sale too, the black and white og colour, bought them in my usual nike size of 9UK, just because the leather sreatches over time, and if i wear thinner socks doesn seem to be a problem. but for 50-70 bucks in the sale they're well worth it

Obviously Air Max 1 is a NRG for PGA. What other models? Same models that were Master’s NRG?

I have TW13 and Roshe Tour both in size 10, my regular shoe size. Both are the right size but I find the Roshe to fit slightly bigger. And by slightly I mean probably like an 1/8 of a size at most. I wear thicker stance socks with them for reference

Love the TW13, but the remake has some quality issues. I’ve had to exchange several because I got pairs with weird creases in the sole, tears in the upper and excess glue / not enough glue in certain places. 
 

Have both colors and kept the 3rd exchange of the black ones because they were ‘good enough’ and I didn’t want to waste time sending it back again.

I vaguely remember the black color way. FWIW I pulled the trigger on the VT3 and they were true to size. Foot did get a little damp after walking 9 .....

how was comfort?  any issues with heel blisters or you think it will be a good walking shoe?

it was my 2nd time walking in them and I liked em. I didnt really feel any rubbing except around the inside of my lead ankle but I would just readjust the sock

I feel like it has been forever since there was a new Next% colorway. They releasing any of them soon? You think they'd have more releases for the only good Nike golf shoe 🤷‍♂️

Played my first round with the TW13.  Half size up were the perfect amount of roomy but still stable.  I can see why everyone loved that nike free sole.  it feels great.  Glad I picked these up

270s for me. I think the 90s are terrible golf shoes, feel cheap and bulky. I loved the 270s but they just don't release many options so I haven't had a new pair in years. They do feel a little tight, but loosen up.

i dont think there is much difference in traction, both are the same to me, might be that 270G have a bit more traction but not much

im very used to spikes, only wear air max off course

 

main difference in these 2 models to me is that in 270G i had to go half size up

I'm completely opposite of @mci711.  I've had both and love the 90s over the 270s.  TO ME, the 90s are not bulky at all...as long as you get a normal color way and not a NRG.  TO ME, they are so comfortable I actually wear them quite a bit off the course also.  The 270s are great too, but feel look much like a running shoe to me.  I prefer more stability.  Just my .02 cents.

 

Traction: I've had no traction issues with either one of them.  Then again, I don't swing out of my shoes either.

Point being... Buy both and try them and send the one you don't like back (best thing about nike is the return policy). Because we all see things completely different! 😂

Two totally different shoes. 270s are much heavier, traction might be a little better, and maybe a slight edge on comfort. Both good shoes imo

i woud love to be able to like/wear the 270s. but the lack of any stretch where you put the foot in and how narrow they are is a constant 'no' there are some great deals on atm with the 270s too. fwiw i like the air max 90s and older model, small swoosh air max 1.
