New to this sub-forum so hope I am doing it right.  Nothing in this bag is all that up-to-date except the driver (and that may be swapped back out for my G400 Max).  Played all-Ping for quite a long time but gonna see how I get on with the mint set of CB-501s I bought recently.  How much harder to hit than iBlades can they be?? 😅  Putter is a tour issue Jim Wells straight necked Zing 5KS, 380g head.  Probably need some new wedges...

Cool to see the Anser wedges in a bag.  I'm too used to the high-toe style wedge to game mine but I really like the feel of them.

Thanks!  I love them and have played the 50 and 56 for ages; getting a bit worn now.  I also have the 54 and 60.  Great clubs.

Thanks all.  At the risk of showing off, I have two identical Jim Wells Zing 5KSs made for the same (Ryder Cup) player and with the same 380g headweight - one in steel and the other in BeCu. The steel one has the extra bullet weights, I presume because the SS head was lighter than the copper.

Not just old but if old and worn in the middle, gotta have that dime mark.

 

My friend have old 3W's and they suck lol.

Awesome stuff.  Just missing a BeNi version haha.

 

Any particular reasons why the Steel one is in the bag over the BeCu?

When I bought them a few years back, I changed the SS one to my preferred length (34") and grip (PP60, which is my equal all-time favourite alongside PP58 midsize) and left the BeCu one as Monty had it, at 36" and with a blue GP pistol grip.  So, the BeCu isn't currently to my specs and is more just a collection piece for the rack as it's still exactly as he had it.  TBH I have rarely used the SS one to date but am planning to give it a proper run out this year.  Last year I rotated various other Pings, and tbh the one I tend to hole most putts with is the Wack-E mallet (ugly but really really effective!).  That could well be back in the bag if the JWZ5KS doesn't perform well...

 

Attached a pic showing the straightened necks of the Z5KSs (I also have a non-weighted BeCu one) - usually this model had a big offset through the slanted KS neck.
